Need a few additional mods to aid in occasionally removing posts or comments that violate the rules in the sidebar, mostly incivility.

I thought cavalry was the sort of position where people had to buy their way in through a commission.
I believe that was the British until the 19th century. I could find of no such thing for US commissions, although I am not all that versed on the history.
I mostly just picked the poster because it looked neat ;)
