I don’t really have anything notable or profound to add. I just want to say that, setting all controversy aside, RMS is a titan, an icon, and a living legend, and I’m so happy that his treatment is going well. Here’s hoping that he and his beard make a good recovery and he’s around for a while longer.
Excuse me, but it’s GNU/Cancer
(sorry couldn’t resist, best of luck Stallman)
This is in really poor taste.
I love it.
Akshually, calling it GNU/Cancer would mean that GNU is a critically important component of cancer, which is incorrect. A more appropriate term for it would be Nestle/Cancer. Also, prayers for RMS
Or as I have come to call it GNU+Cancer
The internet has ruined us.
I always wanted to know what RMS looks like without his signature hair and beard, but never like this.
Wishing him good health and a speedy recovery.
I hear he still sleeps with a katana under the bed.
I cannot imagine a hairless RMS. He should have insured his beard and hair, just like Tom Jones’ insured his chest hair for $6.8 million.
Hope he gets well soon to be able to continue eating stuff from his feet. Or maybe that’s what caused it? We should definitely study his lifestyle to maybe figure out a pattern.
Jokes aside, he’s a very important figure for computing as a whole, but also a very interesting and quirky personality. Wish him the best.
Is this really a bot-generated comment?
Yes, I know that the eating foot things is real, ughh
