Yeah, I want to hate it (and I do) but the idea is great. It’s just that there’s no way in hell the AI is doing the same job as a teacher. It’d also be very hard to tell if it’s working correctly. Who’s going to tell them it’s not? The student?
I do think we need to modify our educational system to better suit people with different needs, but this should be through increased funding for more teachers, not AI to increase profits.

The reason why Reddit killing third-party apps is an issue is that everyone has an opinion on UI, and all of them are correct. The perfect UI for one person will be terrible for another. Don’t take what others are saying too harshly. Make the UI that you think is best and there will be other users who agree and want it too. If you make something where you’re trying to please everyone you’ll end up making something no one likes.

Strigil, but yeah. Honestly, I’m not sure why we don’t still use something similar commonly. I just looked it up, and there a few tools to perform the same task, but not many and it isn’t common. Sure, you can use a luffa or something for exfoliating, but they can breed bacteria and need to be replaced. A blade is reliable, functional, clean, and infinitely reusable. It seems like something that should be making a comeback, especially since most luffas are artificial and made of plastic.
They’re going to have to take it to court and provide evidence. Trust is what you give to someone without the need for evidence. If they can prove it, then sure I’ll believe it. I’m not just going to trust that they’re correct without that though.
Here’s the thing: landlords make a profit, right? Where does that profit come from? There are better and worse landlords, but any time there’s a profit there’s money being taken away from people.

To be fair, people were posting actors who look like the very shitty pictures we have of the guy too, and I buy some of them. Honestly, the picture we have looks more like Timothée Chalamet than this guy. The reason why this would work is because it makes it appear as though you may get lawyers involved. Yeah, they don’t want to pay out claims, but they also don’t want to get sued and lose. This is an intimidation check to make them either back down and pay out or risk potentially going to court with someone who appears to know what’s up. They’d rather just pay the bill at that point, at least as long as this doesn’t become common.
Yeah, as the other comment says, my understanding is the stickers are the size of an emoji on their instance. Something about either federation or the client on their server messes it up. Maybe some clients have fixed it, but mine (Sync) has not. Maybe it’s unfixable if you aren’t from their instance.

Sadly, we don’t live in a fair rule-of-law state in the US, so if they go to trial that’s probably not how this will go. If the justice system were fair the assassin never would have needed to do what he did in the first place. Until the justice system is repaired, I don’t think this person should face a trial. It wouldn’t be fair.
The reason why these systems are put into place is to empower people who had wrongdoing done to them. If they fail to work, those people should use alternative methods to force consequences on them. That lecture recording should have been leaked. It could have been accidentally left somewhere and gotten out.
