I know some swear by the travel bidet (not for everyone), but for the masses, a pack of biodegradable “flushable” wipes are a great addition to your toiletry kit. Just one or 2 after you’re done with all of your other business leaves you nice and fresh for the day and can bury them if you’re backpacking.
An all-metal French press is, IMO, hard to beat. Easy, simple cleanup, not too heavy (depends on the press you get), and makes a good cup o Joe.

I used to love Clerks when I was a teenager, but after rewatching it as an adult (along with a few other Kevin Smith movies), I feel like I outgrew it. It’s edgy and the characters have good chemistry and was shot well, but end of the day, kinda just juvenile and the dialog pretentious. I get why it was criticized as such.
This is part of my top 3 war movies. I’ve heard it criticized as “artsy,” but it is and it’s great.

I’d also argue for getting whole chickens (and spring for the nicer ones too). Roast it, pull off the breasts and eat those, eat the drumsticks if you enjoy them, or use the entire rest of the carcass for making really good stock.
