Has anyone been to any kind of convention for nerdy things. Nerds are so captured by the marketing and products being sold that they let it take over their personality and they can’t stop buying junk.

I remember having a discussion with a lady that was upset that they removed soda and juice from the vending machines at school. She claimed that juice was healthy. I told her that the problem was that all the kids are fat not that they’re low on vitamin C which is very easy to get from other foods.

Google ads are extra obnoxious making the entire platform more annoying to use and most of us will never pay for youtube. Those ads are not even selling products I would be interested in. Investment scams, car accident claim ads, AI voiced robot panda. It just annoying noise.
