Been a year two years since I last released music. I’m now close to releasing my latest industrial prog metal EP consisting of 5 songs.

And that’s even an understatement. Moon Safari is in the Mount Rushmore of the genre.
I don’t think so. The barrier to entry is pretty low but the average internet user still can’t get over it, so I don’t think it will ever become mainstream.
85% cook at home, 15% eat out or take out (around once a week), 0% delivery. What we save from eating out and delivery goes into buying more stuff at the grocery store to make various dishes at home.
Same with how macbooks look because all screenshots are automatically saved to desktop.
I just bought a Mammotion robot mower 2 months ago. It’s been working well and I only have minor complaints. I definitely would’ve looked into this if I hadn’t gotten my mower yet. Note that so far the author can only guarantee it works on only one model, the one they tested it on.
I have the same bluetooth keyboard. lol
When my grandpa was cremated, we went in the cremation room to see him for the last time. Then we stepped out. After a couple of minutes, we got back in to see the remains. Apparently there are still a lot of larger solid bones that remain, and they have to ground them up into the “ashes” you normally would see. We step out of the room again, and they come out with the urn containing the ashes after another few minutes.
Before I open the link, I bet this is the interview where the demon inside Kenneth Copeland was close to getting out and killing the reporter.
Buying stuff online using a phone or app. I still feel safer and more secure on a desktop browser with uBO.
Thunder. Cross platform, great UI, and now has piefed support.
You won’t get anywhere if you use the “leave your bathroom door open” or “unlock your phone and give it to me” arguments, because to them that is a different thing and they pretty much know what it means to have privacy on those aspects. What they don’t care about are the things they don’t see (i.e. social media tracking, location data access, etc.) and that’s what they consider nothing-to-hide-nothing-to-fear.
So the best examples I could think of to counter those arguments are:
If they DO care that prices on the stuff they buy is influenced based on their habits and the data companies collect on them, or if they DO care that anyone can potentially tap into their home cameras to watch even just their outdoor cameras (let alone indoor ones), then they DO care about privacy and just don’t realize it.
That’s gonna be a bunch of security and compliance violations, not to mention messing with incident response and digital forensics.
I use a Mammotion Mini for my backyard which I got at a pretty big discount during Memorial Day sales. I don’t have HA, but it seems there’s some work going on for integration: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/mammotion-luba-integration/604662/63.
It does require internet access though, and I put it in my isolated guest vlan to be safe. I haven’t tried running it without an internet connection yet. Obviously this doesn’t meet all your requirements, but I can at least attest that the mower itself is pretty good. Good luck on your search!
White soles on shoes as well.
I’ve been a Thunder user since day 1 and I agree it’s the best client. I was only forced to temporarily use Voyager for piefed support but now that Thunder is on board as well, I’m back. I do use Voyager on my desktop browser because tablet mode makes it function like Alexandrite, which hasn’t been updated for a while and doesn’t support piefed yet.
I wasn’t able to follow up on the announcement post for piefed support, but since this is a fresh thread: I noticed it throws an error when trying to load nested comments on the 3rd level and onwards. Not sure if that’s one of the current limitations for piefed support but wanted to let you know just in case. Thanks!
Don’t true crime “stuff” usually have background music already? But to answer your question, dark film scores. Check out music from composers like Jóhann Jóhannsson and Hildur Guðnadóttir.
Thank you for the kind words! Yeah it really is hard work, especially since I do everything myself. In fact, the post-production work actually takes a lot more time than the actual writing and recording. I’ll definitely post it here on lemmy when it’s out sometime next month.
