Dusty old bones, full of green dust.

Ain’t that the truth.
There’s a difference between being alone versus “lonely.” I know this sounds flippant, but you have to find things you like. Things you wake up and look forward to, or plan for yourself. Maybe plan something for yourself next holiday? Take yourself out to dinner, spa day if that’s your bag, maybe look into a hobby you’ve always been interested in, go to a out-of-the way store, whatever is special to you and for you.
Good luck.
I guess the idea that some people are fat for reasons outside of their control? When it comes to fat people, people don’t like to hear “excuses,” regardless if it’s “I don’t have enough time to work out” or “my body is unable to do xyz effeciently and causes weight gain.” Fat is seen as a character flaw. And because for a lot of people, it is a simple “calorie in vs calorie out,” the idea of it not working for someone is seen as a failure of character. So this “belief” is making it easier for… Fat people to be fat I guess.
Weird that this didn’t trigger concerns of anorexics latching onto this study validating their belief that they can’t eat/eat certain foods because their body absorbs more than others. But, like they say, you can never be too rich or too thin. 👍🏾
I make the most I’ve ever made in my adult life and I am doing the least I’ve ever done in my adult life. Checks out.
That’s so cute! I should re-watch him.
For the thought, that’s all. Not so much about the card itself, but someone taking time to write to you, even if it is just a holiday greeting. But I also don’t get a bunch so they’re easy for me to hold on to. I still have my birthday card from my 20’s 😅. But do it need it? No. Just makes me smile when it happens.
Anything. I haven’t gotten a Christmas gift in years. My family isn’t big on holidays, but I like the idea that someone was thinking of me. I think a card would be nice.
Kids aren’t being taught how to read, use a computer, or math. Now they’re not going to be taught at all through grades 4-8? I imagine if the parents are involved, it may do something, but what about kids with working parents? Whose going to make sure they’re actually retaining information? It’s kind of fucked up that they’ll be reintroduced into the “normal” system, and possibly be severely behind kids who had to go to class everyday.
No. My mom has always worked holidays, and so have I (once I was old enough). We would celebrate around it, but pulled back as I got older. I’m at a job that’s just closed this holiday, and it’s just a day off for me. 🤷🏿♀️
I use it for ideas and references. Back when I drew, it was a great source for models. Also nice for projects. They have a plethora of patterns for crafting, not to mention just straight inspiration if you’re looking to design pretty much anything. I don’t use it to just look at pictures, I go to it looking for something specific.
Same here. I’m actually forcing myself to stop. It’s expensive and I get high for shorter and shorter times. I’m trying to make it to spring, but we’ll see.
Yes. I get sweaty and kind of panicky. I usually do curbside pickup for thjs reason, but if I have to go, I plan out my path and keep my head down.
I can’t remember the name, but for IT Crowd specifically, when one of their coworkers thought Jen died and became a vengeful ghost. I laugh whenever I watch that episode.
Over all, King of the Hill, “Pretty, Pretty dresses.” First off, hilarious, second, I found it strangely touching. Bill has good people around him, even if they don’t show it. Even Dale was coming around the corner in a dress to participate. I thought that was very kind. No matter how bad it gets, they don’t leave him, even if they don’t know how to help him.
Runner up: “Almost got 'em” from Batman the Animated Series. All the villains were talking about how they almost got Batman, only to find out Batman was there in disguise. He was disguised as Croc. I found that hysterical for some reason.
Working hard will get you far.
I bought a cheap TCL TV last year. If you can, turn off the wifi (I literally just wanted the TV, not the “smart” part). I play everything either through a hard drive, laptop or my PS and that works for me. You can also change the settings to open up to the last channel instead of the landing page. I can still connect my TV to Bluetooth. When I turn it on, I see the TCL logo, but after that, nothing.
Hard to narrow it down to just one. I’d say it’s a toss up between my eating habits and weed.
2016 Hyundai Accent. It was cheap and what I could afford. I will run it into the ground before I get another one. She works and she’s tough. She got me across country with a full trailer attached to her and is just fine. She’s filthy, but she is mine. And I love her.
