Lawlessness is better than what we have, laws that serve a couple million at everyone else’s, hundreds of million’s expense with no legal recourse.

We get no say in economic policy or regulation, only the how or if to address some of the social issue symptoms of that economy through our legally bribed parties. Arguing over abortion’s legality instead of why productivity per worker has multiplied while the owner class now demands 2 breadwinners in most cases to survive, which is why most abortions happen, not enough to survive. But we don’t legislate the “free” to die in the streets alone market, so the argument becomes forced births or not. The argument should be to fundamentally change what our economy should be oriented to reward like teachers and nurses, and punish like insatiable, sociopathic, antisocial greed and vocations/investments that hurt society for individual profit. But both major parties are well bribed to say that’s evil socialism and tar and feather anyone who would dare say that to either of them.

Our system is already worse than lawlessness, our system is laws made by the wealthy (see ALEC) to extract the very lives from the poor for private profit, that the poor must simply suffer to remain lawful. It is effectively one way lawlessness from above. They can kill you with a dictate to their sycophants to deny more claims while sipping expensive bourbon on a beach, or by ignoring an expensive product safety issue, or by lowering inspection standards to save a buck and poisoning baby formula, and you and/or your baby can die quietly now that they have your money. That’s the law here and now.

In the event of a crash, a soft gooey human is probably the least likely object that flies out of that car to seriously injure someone else, and if that gooey human hits anything the car is made of first, the gooey human loses and is just further bruised against things harder than a human.

Can you point me to a single instance of someone being injured or died because the corpse of another human, and not hard metal, plastic, or glass was launched out of the vehicle and managed to hit them?

Because that seems like a cartoonish outcome of a crash that’s high speed enough to do so. Like one in a billion, about as likely as being next to a car crash and being killed by the shrapnel of the used gum that was under the seat.

Honestly, they are compared a lot, and while seat belts should be encouraged, I don’t think they should be mandated for adults.

It’s more important to the owners to keep us largely uneducated and ignorant for their own continued dominance than it is to maximize our longevity. Also they would have to pay honet to God taxes to fund public education, something they’ve spent decades installing loopholes to get out of, despite profiting directly from a pre-literate workforce Pool.

Just look at our for profit deathcare system, you would think, as they demand Healthcare largely be tied to employment to keep their employees desperately loyal, that it would be in their best interests to approve claims and keep their labor force healthy enough to labor, but it’s a numbers game and there’s just too much profit to be had, just as with their tax loopholes, in letting laborers die when they get sick or injured rather than approve their claims and letting them eventually recover. That’s a lot of lost profit when they can just replace them with someone ready to work tomorrow.

That technology requires massive manufacturing capacity that requires civilization. When water and food become scarce from a changed climate, there goes that.

We won’t go extinct for a time, agreed. We’ll cling to our hardened structures and aging tech for as long as we can.

But humans thrived on easy mode. In a climate we evolved to thrive in. Without that, we’ll become subject to nature’s whims once again.

This is precisely why “we’re going to colonize Mars” is a hilarious pipedream. We couldn’t make a practically infinitely forgiving environment that automatically recycled our waste, water, and air work. We stressed it as hard as we could for as long as we could until it started pushing back, yet we only increased our attack.

A few peak humans growing potatoes on mars is a cute “yay humanity” moment. But you’ve met us. A colony of hundreds, or thousands, some born into what would inevitably be a highly class segregated system that demands their servitude, given the private profit egotists now in charge of such things, where anyone making a mistake or having had enough easily leading to boom everybody dead try again? Yeah that is strange, the affluent usually have gold plated plans that aren’t subject to the same murderous tyranny most’s base level and/or employer provided garbage is. I thought those are the plans they point to as the US having the “best Healthcare in the world…” for the right people, god’s chosen affluenza sociopaths.

I always saw those plans as the “In the little self-protecting country club” plans provided for the owners fellow owners in actual good faith since they’re seen as bona fide human beings and not exploitation livestock.

As with anything in the owner’s completely seperate, segregated world, from vacation spots to Healthcare, the only gate they need to keep is prohibitive expense.

An active War is being waged upon the non-wealthy masses by the owners, a war sanctioned by our own government that will not intervene, whether the non-wealthy masses peacefully line up as is expected of them to get executed like good lil boys and girls in the name of private profit or not.

Can he talk to the public while in custody? Is that a right that he has or are there legal mechanisms to keep him segregated from making any public statements if they don’t like what he wants to say?
