I would say it’s hard to quantify specific examples of it helping in the sense you mean, the point of it is to create more awareness of institutional prejudices that affect groups of people. Becoming aware of these prejudices is the first step towards finding ways for those institutions to provide their services more equally to people.

It’s likely that HIS credentials were revoked, but anyone in IT will tell you there many systems which are accessed by a shared direct username/password login, and yes while that should be changed when needed a much easier solution would be to lock those apps/sites behind a VPN which is much easier to revoke access to.
It is sometimes good at building SQL code examples, but almost always needs fine-tuning since it doesn’t know the schema specifics.
Having said that one time it gave me code that resulted in an error, then I went back to GPT and said “This code you gave me is giving this error, can you fix it?” and all it would do is say something like “Correct, that code is wrong and will give an error.”
It doesn’t, it’s a perception bias caused by a few different things like others here have mentioned, but also freshly grown hair tends to be thicker, then tapers off as it grows, so it SEEMS thicker.

Honestly Google is probably the least bad option, they’re all gonna do what Google does with your data, and they’re a better cost per speed ratio. And frankly there are few companies worse than Comcast, I hate them so much.

No. Every era produces plenty of shit music, but as time goes on the better music is what is remembered. Also the songs that end up having lasting power decades from now are often not the “hit” songs of the day. Hell even the best artists of the era did bad songs, or songs the fans loved but the critics reviled. Google the reviews for “Kokomo”, it’s wild.
From the side of someone who works heavily in data analysis and application databases I can tell you it would be very, very easy to see if it was just a front end application using the data or storing it in a database. There are use cases for both setups, absolutely, but a cursory examination of the machine in question would make it abundantly clear which it was doing.

I went through the same process myself a couple years ago, first PC build in a while. The biggest shock for me was finding out hard drives (SSD, HHD, etc) were outdated: its all about NVMe cards which look like a stick of RAM and plug directly on the motherboard.

No he’s right, they actively engage aggressively with anyone who does not share their views and it’s pretty unsubtle. Ignore and block them, you can’t have honest discussions with them so why bother?
