The politicians are using the antifa boogyman as a political tool and the MAGA supporters are just opposing a group they see as “leftist terrorists.” In their eyes it has nothing to do with any kind of “legitimate” resistance to fascism so they’ll outright reject the notion that being against Antifa means your for fascism.

They’ve been conditioned to absolutely loath anyone on the left with the most pure burning hatred, so in using the qualifier “leftist” in their description they invoke the thought terminating process, leftist means you hate them without thought, and antifa is now a label you can put on anyone you want to persecute. The “base” may have been conditioned to despise “the left,” but I think we’re still at the point where the right can’t simply say “we’re arresting them because they’re Democrats that are protesting our actions” so they need this “dangerous terrorist group” to exist as the enemy.

People who don’t like math usually learn and reproduce the subject by memorizing formulas and using them as tools to solve problems where as people who enjoy mathematics typically seek to understand why those formulas work and often rederive them.

Literally why I hate math. There was no explanation in highschool, it was just here’s a formula bv+yq-72(7ph+u/65) use it when you see pineapples.

…how the fuck am I supposed to just remember that? I need to understand how something works or my brain simply will not retain it. The response I always got was “proofs are too complex, you’ll learn that in college.” …ok but that doesn’t help my D+ ass now and just made me think I’m terrible at math, completely avoiding anything science related even though I loved pretty much most fields of science.

As others have said #1 will do the job, but their expectations should be tempered. Even people with extraordinary computers struggle with performance issues with that game specifically. The engine that game was designed on was not made for the type of game they made and it has been struggling since day 1.

I love the game, put many many hours into it, but even with a brand new rebuild that is closer to option #2 but a better processor, slightly worse graphics card, and more memory, my computer struggles a bit with it and I get noticeable performance drops.

I don’t have a choice. Alcohol gives me insomnia and weed gives me super intense panic attacks. CBD stopped working so I just stopped everything.

Pretty much what everyone else is saying as far as it can’t really be proven. Everything you experience is your brains interpretation of the stimuli it received from outside the body.

One of the few ways I rationalize it for myself is: there’s no fucking way at all that I am the “main character.” I’m the most pathetic, least important thing to have ever disgraced this earth with his existence. I’m not in a simulation that is centered around me, that universe would be absolutely insane.

It’s the natural evolution of unchecked right wing power and greed in a capitalist system, it’s pretty much as far right as you can go. Get the “right” person in power, the right propaganda systems in place, the “right” economic hardships in place and you can easily manipulate enough people to let you become a dictator and even want you to become dictator.

Trick them with excessive nationalistic theater and they believe they’re being “patriots” defending their country from the big bad enemy you’ve made of your political opposition. You cannot allow that opposition to ever regain power that could threaten you so you literally crush them and the machinery that allows them to grasp at power.

It’s pretty much all about power and greed with a disgusting dash of sadism.

What kinda helped me was thinking of then as relative to time and than was associated with math so it helped recognize how it related to concepts differently lol
