Literally NOTHING.
The us has the largest military by far even when combining the contenders militaries. Add to that most world “leaders” are feckless cowards just looking for their next payout. There will be no stopping the US. :(
Just a below average idiot that mostly comments for one of 3 reasons:
Catharsis, expressing exasperation over the general state of things.
Looking to make someone laugh.
Self deprecation.

True, but have you considered oil?

Thanks for the explanation!
If only we could have a nice unexpected downturn that wouldn’t affect “us” right about now lol

But how do they pay off the loan? They eventually need some sort of cash of their own right? Do they literally borrow to pay off a loan and do that infinitely?

It was Bill Gates. It’s why he’s not the richest person anymore. He bought all the games to train windows AI to play games for you so now there’s a global games shortage.
Now you might be thinking, but Asafum Bill Gates only needs one copy of each game. He doesn’t need all of them! And to that I say: listen I’m not Bill Gates, I don’t make the rules. It’s just something he does. He’s the sole reason the video game market is so huge. Stupid Bill Gates…
It’s a masterclass in externalities: local communities face the consequences of the resource consumption by the data centers.
Job loss: were all told the “knowledge market” is where you deserve a good salary. AI threatens a lot of that work. Blue collar factory work will go as soon as AI can be properly integrated with nimble robotics that aren’t quite there yet. With how disgusting our society is (in the US) there will be no consideration for the people who can no longer find work.
Wealth built on theft and gambling: people like Altman become fabulously wealthy with a system that makes 0 profit and has been built off of the stolen works of millions of people.
Capacity to manipulate: we’ve had enough trouble with bad faith actors on the Internet with real people. Now we’re going to have an endless army of “intelligent” actors that will be weaponized against populations worldwide to secure the position of the ultra wealthy over all of our governments.
I didn’t before much, but now I REALLY don’t have a positive outlook on our future because of this…
In a similar position, nowhere near what my perfect life would be. Not even remotely close to it ever happening.
Be in a loving relationship. (Been single for ~10 years. Longest relationship was 8 months…)
Have a secure job that pays well that I enjoy. (I’m 40, uneducated, and work in a factory.)
Own a home where I can have a garden and a workspace for crafts.(See #1&2 for why that’s never happening, currently renting a garage “apartment.”)
Fixing things. Mostly if it’s for someone else.
Unfortunately as far as work goes, two of the things that make me most unhappy: driving, traffic, are tied to the job of fixing things for people so I quit that job :/
This is how I feel literally every single day, and somehow every single day gives me a new reason to feel like this… I’m so sick of this timeline…

It’s either LSA or LSH, it’s been almost 20 years since I made it so I forget which is which, but basically the process involves extracting one of those and turning it into the more potent other.
For me it was like a much weaker LSD, but you still felt it quite a bit.

Lol a few days straight, but then just sporadically over a few months. I didn’t notice much as far as tolerance buildup over those few days

I did LSD for a few months when I lived with a few friends, I loved that stuff.
LSA is pretty cool too and you can make it yourself without any risk of poisoning. Not sure about the rules so I won’t explain how unless someone says it’s cool lol
As far as what constitutes a good sense of humor I think there are a few ways to see it. One way to see it is being able to “take a joke,” to know that you shouldn’t be offended depending on the joke.
Another way to see it is the actual understanding/ability to make jokes and to know when to do so.
A third way to see it is with your eyes.
…ok I’ll leave. :P

The hard part is that you have to be opposed to the marriage as well. She has to choose you, latch on, and then yandere you down the aisle against your will.
I’ve been single for the last decade, resisting it that much will be impossible lol

They’re saying you’re taking things too literally and not thinking about the potential meaning of the sentence.
There is a belief that a lot of Vegans basically preach to others and look down on people who still consume meat. Their use of AI Vegan was meant to utilize that background and apply it to AI, so they don’t want to come off as someone preaching or being a snob about their issues with AI.

The Costanza Rule is real, but any attempt to utilize it is a paradox.
Rule: any decision I make is the wrong decision because I made it therefore I should always do the opposite.
But to do the opposite is also a choice I am making and therefore it too will be the wrong choice.

However, that narrative can’t go too far in turning off people on one side of the issue unless the “news” outlet aims to only cater to the other side.
This is literally why the media can seem so biased in the US, because to a large extent it is. They have a market audience they’ve decided to create content for, there is an intended audience. It’s not entirely what one side or the other would believe: biased to manipulate but more like biased in that they aim for a specific audience to serve ads to.
That’s just on the whole, I’m not saying Fox or Newsmax doesn’t exist for the sole purpose of keeping Republicans in power.

Funny enough he ends up marrying into extreme wealth lol
As a “child of the internet,” my history brought to light by opposition research would unite the country.
It would unite them in their hatred of me lol
