Honestly I’m surprised a republican is pushing for solar energy.

Also, I’m not sure how much those in the article cost, but the kind you bolt down to a roof can easily cost you into the thousands, so it takes a while for them to pay for themselves, which isn’t something everybody’s going to be okay with.

It’s not too late to turn it around.

Unfortunately, it is. It’s nice to think that everybody can do their part to bring back the locally-owned places and sense of community, but you’re not going to convince people living paycheck-to-paycheck who are going to always make a beeline for the cheapest prices. The only time a Wal-mart dies is when the town builds a bigger, new Wal-mart or the town itself dies altogether.

You don’t even have to go that far, even just saying how you would be happy to hear the news of them biting the dust is enough to get a ban.
