I am off from my day job until January 2nd. But I work my night job every single day. The only day off all year is Christmas ever.

It’s so bad, really. I use two phones at once, one for gaming and the other for whatever else, and I never am without a phone in my hand ever. I’m really just trying to block out the bad things that are happening to me but it’s insane too.

Also Canadian, would drag myself across the border on a broken leg and throw myself on the mercy of the Niagara Falls hospital before I ever got near an American hospital. I’d be bleeding from my head wound and assuring the border guard I had no alcohol or tobacco and did not spend over my dominus.

How did you find Lemmy? It’s just the fediverse is a touch trickier to join without so I wonder how older people managed. I’m 50 but I’ve always been an internet person since the dawn of Livejournal so I figured most of it out.
