  • ill tell you this, the amount of data would require for anyone accept a statement or idea as fact is related to their emotional assessment of the idea. See it all the time with trump supporters that think that trump is actually fighting to cut tax on overtime pay simple because he said it on the trail and there no evidence (and they have no evidence) that is happening, on the other hand it would take an infinite amount of evidence that trump took bribes even as he openly appointed Elon after spending millions of dollars.

so its weird that you have to propagandize the facts just to get people anywhere near a reasonable level of skeptism.

but for me I just say anything is valid unless I know how its wrong, which is limbo of acceptance then afterwards it can become a scoreboard where for and against. maybe a source doesn’t 100% line up with a statement, hell even video/audio evidence can be incongruent with a statement (as in its similar to what’s said but doesn’t back up a statement). I think the claim that Floyd overdosed but the video doesn’t show a overdose from opioids, so you’d have to rule out overdose simple because video doesn’t match the description of an overdose.

it wouldn’t take much, generally new information has to be consistent with what I know. the hard part is understanding the new information. no one is randomly disprove gravity or that things have mass, but someone can prove to me how a myth is meant to be interpreted for the intended audience

  • Protestors can be nice and they’ll make small talk about the protest. I could hear the anxiety in people’s voices when they talked to trump supporters and voice their decent of trump and my awkward ass gives them a thumbs up of approval.

I wasn’t even that outgoing at these events, but it took my 10-20 minutes to get over the jitters

  • I may or may not be related to John Brown. The guy who tried to free the slaves before the civil war in America.

I definitely did have shakes early on in the kings protest, it really was like climbing to the peak of a roller coaster, but payoff is way different. You definitely have to react to things you can not expect.

I did enjoy going up to trump supporters with my Palestine flag and trying to empathize with him not being part of a popular movement

  • I see you meant trample not sample. I was kicked off reddit for a reason lemme really likes.

I have “love your enemies” rattling in my brain for the past few days and I have comparing it to “you have no enemies”. They almost seem mutually exclusive but make you act very similarly. I get how trampling on people makes people like me feel better that it’s toxic and well if people to trample on me I’d accept it and let them know I understand why they’re doing it.

I can accept that people drink alcohol, do drugs, and prey on those they precieve weaker than them. I do see people get mad at other people drinking and doing drugs with real passion behind it. it’s weird to say it’s really a perspective thing.

My best advice is to try to understand them. If they’re truly angry assholes they can’t explain and they’ll get frustrated at their inability to articulate and precieve your question as a form of (self projected) hostility, if they are trying to communicate to you they’ll make an attempt to say why they’re angry. I like to think that if you matured enough you’ll just say what you don’t like and why you don’t like it.

  • Depends how consistently I’ve been going. Early on I’ll pick majority muscles like bi/triceps, glutes, pecs, or abs to break them into work out routine. Like I’ll pick 3 and wear them out because that easy to do early on. As conditioning kicks in over the weeks then I can pick 2 category for a day like chest/abs, arms/legs, shoulders/back, etc so that more specific muscles get trained.

When I was working out regularly I’ll say that home workouts are great. I didn’t have the equipment or weights at the gym but dumbbells can be used to target very specific muscles that won’t get in the way of next two workouts days

  • yeah I see that. lube would get a big need, but my car runs out of gas several times before I need an oil change and retail stores do carry oil. ironically canola oil and vegetable oil can be used as motor oil. when you run out of oil then things start to grind to a stop.

but machinery would become too costly to maintain and people would stop using it. if a valve broke on a engine I doubt people in the post apocalypses would repair it. unless it was part of a town where people would have both the need and expertise to fix it. there would be easier to maintain alternative of machines that wouldn’t require lube, filters, replacing of metal parts.

after a century an internal combustion engine would become unusable scrape
