5·8 days agoSeems short sighted when they will ultimately just do away with voting.
Its whatever. Ages 8-12 are hardly important and aren’t formative at all.
School is so unnecessary. Life was great before enlightenment and, I don’t know, modern medicine.
The most humane thing about this is there isn’t a teacher getting abused by paying them an insultingly low salary.
Believe it or not if a teacher is effective people actually want to learn.
The advent of computer technology is kind of hard to pass up but there were other things in history that could have been just as interesting on a different level. It might have been cool to be an explorer when the americas were discovered. Ok life would have been pretty miserable but the vast unknown would have been cool. Still would be hard to give up modern medicine.
I submit to it while kindling a fire inside. For the rest of the day escapism. Everyone is just doing escapism.
Society can be so backwards.
