  • I didn’t say anything about cultural wars. I specifically avoided the issue in my example. Getting really upset because some wrote something is not a good thing for real life IMO, doesn’t matter who wrote what (provided it’s not news, of course). Part of a good society is the old adamant “I don’t agree with you at all but will defend your right to say it”.

Who are getting upset at things being written? What does that mean and what does it have to do with vulnerability? You’re doing the fucking boomer shit that kids are too sensitive these days while not specifying what the problem is What is the problem? Be a tough guy and say what you think instead of dressing it up in vague bullshit.

  • I think it’s because leftists are, as a group, a lot less toxic and hateful. They are happy to be a tiny community chatting with each other about being a trans furry communist all day every day.

The right on the other hand are, as a group, a bunch of anti social losers who thrive on hating and complaining about stuff. That’s not a sustainable platform because it’s either a miserable experience or it gets shut down for hate speech so they migrate around and attach themselves to heathier communities and complain about those instead.

  • They have to look different from each other so that I can find them but otherwise no, I do not care how the icons look and I have never met another android user that does either. While there are third party launchers for android to customize your user experience and they allow you to change icons I have never met anyone that uses launchers exclusively for that purpose.

The reason I am talking about iOS is because that is what we are talking about. iOS has a system to pay for app icons and Android doesn’t. Paying $5 for an app icon is alien territory for me.
