It happens all the time. You just have to be willing to put yourself out there a bit. You’re probably not going to have an interaction like you see in the movies where you bump into someone and go all googoo eyes and hear the angels sing, but you can absolutely start a conversation and see where it goes. The key is that you can’t expect anything to happen for you, you have to be willing to initiate interactions too.
We moved to a new house, and I was storing things like a hammer, nails, screws etc. In a kitchen drawer for hanging the 5 millions things to go on the wall. My wife asks me if the drawer will eventually be cleared out.

Until they can get laser projectors to match the brightness of at least older oled, I just can’t use it as a main screen. The picture quality is great on a lot of them, just not bright enough to use in a windowed room.
I have hot wash for towels and bed stuff. Cold for literally everything else. I’ve never had anything bleed, even new stuff.

I mean, that’s been my opinion. You can only get so many polygons and bump mapping and texture resolution, etc, before you hit a plateau. The rest is 100% lighting.
I think as things like dlss and other frame generation tech gets better, Ray tracing will eventually become the norm.
Your exactly right. If graphic quality stood still for a couple years, Ray tracing speed would catch up and be on parity. We keep pushing more polygons and other things that keep putting ray tracing behind a bit.
Tons of people use personal space heaters. It’s not that far off to compare it to a heat lamp.

You underestimate the Bible belt in the Midwest US. This is exactly what they want, and unfortunately, they are in charge in most of these areas. Why do you think Oklahoma and now Texas are putting bibles in schools. No one in high enough positions to push back.
That, or just find the sites that haven’t bent the knee.
