Roblox. Easiet pick of my life, Gods save us all
Woke. Because of woke. Woke. Wome. Woke. w
I bought/built a PC. It’s my first custom build, and my first personal Linux system. I’ve turned it into a sort of glorified Steam Deck with Bazzite. The specs are absolutely topped out, and it runs excellent. I got a nice keyboard to go with it (my first linear), and I’m very happy with the setup overall.
Samsung 65" 4k120 OLED TV
Ryzen 9 9950X
Radeon RX 7900 XTX
4TB SSD
64GB RAM
Corsair K100/Nightsword RGB
FiiO K7 4.4mm -> Hifiman HE1000s
The next big step is to get a Retrotink 4K, and get some retro consoles hooked up with a beautiful CRT filter. Essentially, I’ll turn the TV into a bigger, thinner and more versatile Trinitron, with all of the benefits and none of the downsides.
All in the living room. It’s a killer social environment. Wait until the hookah comes…
Five, because it was the only time the series innovated, and they got punished for it. Sequel games instead of re-releases of games I’ve already played, a brave story, and easily the series’ musical peak. It was the best Pokemon had ever looked, played and sounded.
We will never see it again.
Aye, so right to work is a bad thing.
Is it in Colorado? If it is, it’s a good thing. If not, it’s a bad thing. Right to work is a bad thing.
It’s incredibly simple. Complacency. Greed takes root, nobody cares enough, and greed takes further and further root. The US has constructed its society into one where it is entirely normalised for someone to see a homeless person, and say “they earned it”.
Healthcare–and, by extension, everything else–will only change, when the people work to make that change. Simple as. As of now, corporations make change instead. Perhaps, what’s transpiring proves a turning point, but I’m not willing to believe that yet.
The humble Glinthawk
I’ve used it for very, very specific cases. I’m on Kagi, so it’s a built in feature (that isn’t intrusive), and it typically generates great answers. That is, unless I’m getting into something obscure. I’ve used it less than five times, all in all.
How low do you have to be to criticise Alec? He’s funny, informative, and I love the presentation of his videos. One of the last remaining great YouTubers. Apparently, being a pedophile is more acceptable on YouTube than being a good person. Now, why did I leave again…
The Room is legendary
F-ZERO. Most innovative racing series of all time. F-ZERO 99 is cute and all, but high-speed was never the same after 2003. Aero GPX proves the most promising project since, and it is good.
Ironically, I prefer browsers that specifically do not do this.
Pixel 8 Pro. I take issue with the buttons all being on the right side, which makes combination presses difficult. The cameras are positioned in such a way that it’s difficult to keep stable while not covering them. Gestures are less good than iOS, but it’s literally 2024, and digital buttons should die. I do not like the under-screen fingerprint reader. Rear was so much better on my OnePlus 5T, and that was probably my best unlocking experience.
No headphone jack (surprisingly not new).
Tetris Effect. Combine its gameplay, music, narrative, controller feedback and sound design, and you have quite the blending of the senses. Under certain circumstances, it’s incredible.
Even my corrupted parents aren’t planning on a Thanksgiving visit because of how toxic the family is.
The writing is on the wall.
Aye, as evidenced by the entire site getting him on a PewDiePie meme review.
Reddit is a Nazi site. Musk being worshipped religiously was a whole thing on there. They’d be happy, and I’d hope so–anything to keep conservatism off of Lemmy, and the rest of the fediverse.
My legs.
But, if I was forced to choose, I’d go with an RV, and then live out of it. No in-between. Why?
I have two preferred modes of living. One is without a car in a walkable area. The other is with a car, and my house is attached to the car. Everybody already gets walkable cities, but having an RV would warrant the freedom to be able to bring all of my possessions anywhere I want, whenever I want. For practicality, I’d use a motorbike for travelling after parking the RV. This is the only way I could own a motor vehicle–it must serve a purpose beyond merely moving a few people and objects between point A and point B. Else, I don’t want one.
The only cars I’ve been at all interested in otherwise are old Honda Stepwgns, the Peel Trident, station wagons, and, indeed, motorcycles. Still see no point in these when a hypothetical RV would be much better for a solo road trip, and when I can go on a vacation via plane or another friend’s car. I’m not going out alone.
I don’t like single-use items. I prefer everything I have be as multi-purpose as possible.
EDIT: I should probably clarify I would live out of an RV. It’s not just a hypothetical alternative, it’s something I’m considering.
