Spotydown.media worked for me, but sometimes it gets stuff so wildly wrong that i am guessing he pulls the stuff from another library and takes the closest match for the name. Doesnt seem to be YouTube though, never had intros, outros or music video noises

Well opressivs governments dont work by serving good policys to the people, they work by blaming a part of the people for all problems and then promsing to get rid of them/punish them. A scapegoat basically. The opressors don’t make it better for the people, but the people are happy because the ones they think causing their suffering get punished.
Historically this has been the communists in Nazi Germany, or faschist italy, modern faschists try to make gay people and people from the far east this scapegoat atm.
The problem is: the scapegoat is never the real cause of the problem. After taking them all to the kz, and life for people still not getting better you need a new one. For Nazi Germany those where Jewish people, just because of their religion, has Hitler proposed the “kommunistisch-jüdische-weltverschwörung” (world conspiracy of Jews and communists) When after the pogromes stuff still would get better, they would blame everyone not arian. (Not blonde, blue eyed, northern heritage)
If a fascist government tries to exclude you or not is just a matter of time, at some point they will rum out of scapegoats and come for you.
You never know which aspect someone picks to exclude you (gender, political view, haircolor, Parents, lastname, sexual preferences, religion, mental health, physical health etcpp.) So it’s better to not have someone gather all that info about you in the first place.
Comes down to preference in security vs. Convenience: Keepass is local, so more safe, but with the downside of no automatic sync. can be solved with KDE connect (completly local) or nextcloud (trusted server) though it is not as smooth of a user experience.
Battery is good in my opinion, had an used LCD smartphone before, which held barely a day in the end, this one has two days and a half with battery saver kicking in at 25% which is more than enough for me.

I am using grpahene on a refurbished pixel 6a for 250€
I was coming from lineage os, and while I loved lineage for not having ads, possibility for no google etc. I AM SO HAPPY WITH GRAPHENE
it is better optimized, has higher security and the multiple users, sandboxes Google and stuff are soooo nice and easy to use
Also the pixel is a very nice phone (crazy camera, perfect oled) but I don’t like that it doesn’t support wired headphone and SD cards. Still very much worth it IMHO
I envy you. Had to discuss with esos way to much
Calibre has an Export Funktion which may ve of use
Maybe I should have. But fighting fortress Europe seemed more important (not to say that pirates don’t do this, but their focus is on digital topics). The strategy of connecting with the non Parliament left and making carola rakete second of the list by the left party gave me the impression that they would be a better choice.
Yeah, this vote was a disaster… I didn’t vote for them but its really hard to see them go
Agree with not liking Stalin is great, but calling that “anarcho-” is just stupid. Anarchos generally believe you can run big nation States in a capitalistic world without any central power comparable to today’s nations (not even a democratically controlled one) but instead jump right to the classless society by getting rid of all (or most) institutions and it will just work fine.
Communists/socialists on the other hand believe you need time, practise and fair game rules to form a classless society with enough time, especially in a capitalistic world, where the USA can just invade you, if you have no army and not even a generally recognized government.
Not liking the real life dictator countries, no matter what they call them self’s should be a disconnected question from the philosophical one on how to best archive a harmonic world
I was imagining something like this in hexbear or lemmygrad, as people there seemed quite dogmatic at times, but even on Lemmy.ml? Sad to see this, as I had mostly positive interactions there till now
If you want to be sure you cant be tracked, monitored, spyed on, and calls can’t be intersepted:
Don’t ever connect it to WiFi and don’t insert a sim card.
Graphene or not, your ISP can still share your position or other meta data with government and stuff (in the us they can also be forced to not tell you) - in some countries they legally sell to third party’s, in some probably illegaly
Calls are normally not encrypted so the os doesn’t matter as much if its the government who can force your ISP or if someone is skilled enough for a Man in the middle attack.
Android is a highly complex system, it will never be 100% safe.
If you just want to decrease spying by companies and less powerful people:
Use neo store or fdroid (no google play or aurora) as all apps there are Foss
Don’t install gapps or any other google services/packages
Use shelter for less trusted apps
Use netguard to block apps from accessing the internet
Physically block your cameras
If you want to be absolutely sure no one is recording audio: destroy mics with a needle and connect headset only when you need it
To only use communication apps which are encrypted and you hold the keys should be not needed to be said: matrix, signal, element, xmpp are good, (telegram (normal chats), Facebook, WhatsApp etc is a no go)
Yes, lineage OS without Google. Everytging still works fine, even playstore with Autor store frontend
Fdroid, neostore, freetube+newpipe, jerboah, osm fennec, netguard, orbot and nextcloud are the first that come to mind
True, but the config settings should be good Form the get go, that’s the reason the app exitists after all and ublck and noscript are installed fast. But thanks for the tip :)
