YouTube will never “crack down” on these guys. They are their money-makes and can do whatever the fuck the want. Clickbait on huge channels is YouTube’s bread and butter, even if people just click to comment that the creator sucks, that’s still engagement and means there is more money in the ad bids.

I am so disconnected from this influencer thing that I first heard about Honey when news were pushing that it was a scam. I’m just living under a rock and sometimes that saves my butt, I guess.

He is clearly not corrupt enough which is why he was never allowed to run for president.

That means that if some companies decide to raise prices because of more purchasing power, some smart company is going to charge less to gain more market share.

Here is how this turns out in reality: Company A raises prices because they are greedy bastards. Company B is then impressed with the sheer display of dominance by A and raises prices accordingly to “keep up”.

Your thinking is correct and that’s how it should work, maybe it even did in the 60s, but it just isn’t the case anymore.

This is a different outlook on the situation, but I disagree:

The key difference is that companies don’t need to be at the top to survive but willingly choose to be the biggest slaver in town for profit. Their choice to do this is what puts pressure on everyone because they are being exploited and still have to meet their bodily demands that they absolutely require to survive.

Calling companies equal slaves to the system is disingenuous, they have the privilege of not being a living entity.

In general, people do dream every night even if they don’t actively remember. You might subconsciously recall it and it is affecting your mood when you wake up when you had a particularly vivid dream.

Doubtful. Jupiter’s atmosphere is almost exclusively comprised of hydrogen and regular helium (helium-4). Helium-3 mainly forms due to nuclear fusion processes (like in our sun) and Jupiter’s core isn’t hot enough for that. There is also no “lithium layer”, lithium is maybe a trace element on Jupiter but not something you’d regularly see outside of the core.

You might have been on Ganymed, or Io and mistaken sulfur for helium.

I should have been more precise, you’re right: decriminalize the consumption of all drugs.

There is a valid reason why you don’t want Bobby Noname to cook meth and that is you don’t want him to blow up the whole block because his meth lab practices are unsafe.

Decriminalize all drugs. Drug addicts have enough problems with them without also getting the boot from the legal system.

Imagine having the advisory team named after the cryptoscam one of the members (at least) participated in. Doesn’t get more clowny and openly dishonest than that.

Edit: I swear I replied from my inbox without looking at the other comments and based on the second pic you posted, I’d say it looks like a quiche lorraine, but with tomato sauce instead of bacon and onions.

If the diameter is not at least 40cm, it’s not a pizza for me.

Horror story time:

As a child, my cousin liked to play in a small, wooded area close to his garden and one day, a long time ago, he must have had a tick. He didn’t notice it, nobody noticed anything strange and years (10+ years) later he got problems with rheumatic attacks and arthritis. Doctors were stumped as an adolescent shouldn’t present with this. They checked genetic factors which were negative and treated the symptoms. It got worse and worse over the years, many visits to many doctors and specialists, they all had no idea what the cause of his problems were.

2 years ago (he is 38 now), he got a new knee joint and this year, he had to get a hip replacement because the arthritis. On a whim, a doctor did some tests and found that he has long-term Lyme borreliosis, likely from a tick, but never presented with the more common symptoms and had an unusually long onset time for the long-term effects of the untreated disease.

All of his problems could have been prevented with a few doses of antibiotics.

Penicillin saved my leg. Nothing bit me, I just kept scratching a wound because it was itchy.

It’s like quantum tunneling, theoretically possible but not applicable to macroscopic objects. No matter how often you throw a tennis ball on a wall, it will never tunnel through even tho the calculated chance is non-zero and your amount of tries is infinite.
