No, just familiarity what you’re sold on.
No, just familiarity what you’re sold on.
Personally don’t like the constant echoing of political positions or takes but that’s in my experience equal on both platforms.
I cba. The thing I like more on Lemmy is slight more civilly discussions or what’s being shared.
Just hate how its always have to be polarized to what side you lean on ot emphasis on.
Defaulting on the American aspect of things as well.
While realistic - if nobody tries differently without getting just the massive bag of ceo tax money, it’ll never ever change.
Best motivation.
How dare you expose my mobile typing and/or my not-native language speaker! /s
Netherlands here and as well we have so many local shops that outbeat Amazon that it isn’t even fair. There is a very small chance I buy something of Amazon, think the only time I did was for a replacement item for a Dyson.
Interesting, thank you for the detail.
Outside of junk pre-installed, isn’t it also just a longer extended windows update? Meaning you’d eventually get the updates regardless?
Think this was sponsorblock due to above statement
The best and set up fully automatically.
I like this one, i tend to do this as well. Possibly discover something new and more geared or useful to you; or else an experience that tells you what doesn’t fit for you.
I’ve gotten really good with ddg searches to where I find much more than I did on Google bypassing the first big payers to Google to stay on top… Even if it’s not relevant to my search. I stuck around with ddg and now as I grown into other area’s of IT like Linux, I noticed there were a lot of great bangs that could get me towards the information I wanted.
Same goes for ddg as for Linux to develop new workflows to keep it fresh and make computing fun again.
DDG is awesome, been using it for years.
Thank you!
I am out of the loop, what’s going in with snooping?
I use their cloudflared tunnel sometimes for accessing home hosted stuff.
Huh? We in Netherlands have 5G
Yuuurh!
That’s what I said - the right key wording. It’s pretty strict, whereas Google’s results sometimes are a tiny bit more loose understanding of what you roughly mean. Though not always, and on Google I found myself often just adding “Reddit” for specifics. Though really really depends on what you search.
For me DDG offers a lot more than just search results, the bangs and features like I added a script to directly port my questions to some AI is really useful.
Personally really like ddg over it though. Only gotta be more precise with keywording for finding what you need.
This hits the nail perfectly, as well as users just only knowing Windows because it’s the first type of device you learn most likely through the schooling system.
This sounds nice, thanks for that information.
How do you know stuff is particularly “unsupported” on a same os but different build? Other then errors of course?
In my head it is the same os just different blend so wonder why it wouldnt work. Reckon maybe some missing system components. Though can copy those over?
Anyway was curious if you knew! Thanks
