Blocking an instance is a powerful tool if it is what you have in mind. Blocking or defederating with such activitypub bridge may have unwanted side effects. It has been discussed before, when meta moved closer to the fediverse. Some kind of fediverse split may happen : those who connect with wallet garden platforms vs the others living in the fediverse as we know it today.
What I see is more bots, and cross posting ads made easy 🥲
Free has zero value in the enterprise world if managing certificates is a nightmare. Certificate prices is insignificant when your average website is a 90.000€ project.

They’ve been doing that with intel for ages, one build a slower OS the other a faster processor.

There are a few linux native games, with actually compiled for Linux binaries. Otherwise you’d better look at the WINE project and all that make many windows (as in win64) games runs on Linux.
