I don’t envy you. That’s intense! On the bright side, at least you’re getting used to reality shifting drastically and unexpectedly, which I hope makes you resilient. Rejecting reality as if it had been a dream (which also happened to me) is probably worse in the long run.
Holy cow you woke up to anxiety over a $40k debt. That’s not nice. Interesting to see this happens to other people as well, I never heard in person (at least) about others waking up under normal conditions and not fully realising who they were.
Yeah you bet it was messed. I had a mini panic attack thinking the police were after me, that my life was over, that I was going to rot in jail and I felt so disgusted at myself for taking advantage of those girls. All that in under a minute. And then the wave of relief as I realised who I really was.
Once I had a horrible nightmare in which I was a guy in his 40s and a child predator as well. In the dream I had a red car and was stalking schools looking for teenage girls, offering them a ride.
There were no victims in the dream but woke up so disturbed it took me a whole minute to realize I was, in real life, a woman in her early 20s. It’s by far the most bizarre shit my brain ever dumped on me while asleep. Wtf.
Jungle, rainforest, bush or forest in that order.
I totally see your point, which is why I mentioned this really depends on context. I’ve worked in places where people actually did stretches or meditation during their breaks and nobody cared for it. But I can totally see how that wouldn’t fly in other places.
Also, from experience - some people will still talk to you even if you have headphones and your attention on the phone.
Sweet, I see in the comments many others have an extension for this. Crazy I didn’t even think about it as an option!
That depends on the type of work OP does and when exactly are they adopting the yoga stance. People can do whatever they want during breaks.
But ultimately I agree with your last sentence.
Would you be so kind to share more about that extension please?
Maybe cause it’s just an opinion, not a showerthought
I receive very few gifts and most are from my immediate family who know exactly what I’m after (we share wishlists). So from them, it’s usually an 80% success rate.
Occasionally acquaintances gift smaller things, usually chocolate which I’ll devour, soap that I’ll probably use or a scented candle. Hand/body creams are another popular choice, I rarely use these so I pass them on to my sister or mother. Again, I’d say a success rate of 80%.
TLDR about 20% of gifts are regifted or forgotten, the rest is usually good.
Depends. I would try either youtubing or selling crafts on Etsy/ selling merch on a platform like Redbubble.
This depends on your skills though. Some people can code and do website design, you could do some of that too.
Being conventionally attractive refers to physical appearance, not personality or subculture
Sometimes it’s my earrings, and that’s all I want to say about it.
You can reply to a comment removed, but you can’t read it unless you bother going to the log to check. If you don’t read something you don’t reply to it, do you? What do you say to a bunch of " comment removed by moderator "? Sure you can vote it too but again, you need to first figure out what it said, unless you’re just voting at random.
Does the app matter?
Okay, again I haven’t read a thing so I’m not saying you are wrong. I’ve just heard too many times that coconut is better for cooking, especially frying, and also to be eaten raw. Something about oxidation and temperature. Whatever. If canola is healthier I might switch to it, it’s far cheaper after all.
Coconut, olive, anything else just for occasional flavor but better if avoided, canola and soy are the worst. that’s my personal unresearched ranking.
Removing a comment also makes it impossible for people to join and carry on the conversation. Or keep on upvoting . How can one reply to something they can’t read?
In your particular case, replies such as “yes and let’s also kill this other person” , " they deserve torture beforehand " , or “let’s do it next Tuesday folks” will never see the light of day under that post. They’ll have to first go read the mod log and then contact you via DM. And DMs are between two people afaik.
So the point of removing a comment isn’t to erase the comment out of existence but just to prevent it from having any effect on people who haven’t yet read it.
This happens to me as well, and just like your husband I’m not one to close gaps on purpose to others.
