Heavy duty truck industry

It’s gonna take a lot more data and trust building to convince me to get in an autonomous piloted vehicle. After working in an industry that does autonomous driving and seeing some of it for myself, i don’t trust it at all.

Maybe i should have called it forced labor. They don’t exactly have a choice.

We never made slavery illegal in the U.S. That’s why we make various things a crime, send people to prison, and then bam, free labor for pennies on the dollar, and sometimes nothing. And the BEST PART, they aren’t subject to labor laws, so they can treat them subhuman, and create working conditions that would make you want to puke. Yay capitalism, where everyone is just a number.

I got a Facebook again about 6 months ago so I could post our wedding photos for our friends. Before that I hadn’t had a Facebook in like 5 years.

90% of Facebook content is AI generated content now. I cant even see what my friends are doing anymore. Makes me want to just delete it. But, I do occasionally see stuff from family and friends, which is the only reason I keep it. Some people I only stay in touch with through Facebook. But seriously, fuck that company.

Society has convinced us that we have to always be doing something and contributing to the economy in some way. There is nothing wrong with having fun and just living life.

AI training takes forever. I dont think you realize how long an AI training actually takes. It’s not a 5 minute exercise.

I don’t think rentals should exist. You could literally put a house anywhere a couple hundred years ago, and all you needed to do was build it. Now we have artificially stunted the supply of housing to make good little worker bees our of everyone. The threat of homelessness and starvation is a fantastic motivator to not rock the boat in society.

There is no exception to stealing housing from other people.

Yeah, go ahead try that and see how it works out for you. Test driven development is one thing, having an AI try to write the correct code for you by blindly writing code is idiotic.

A dollar has a made up value

Yeah, that was kind of my point. Currency only has the value people decide it has. It’s based on psychology, as all economics is.

I love when someone comes along and thinks they have the answer to all life’s problems, as if nobody else ever thought of their idea after thousands of years of economic theory. The hubris is intense here.
