How is it more clear cut? What Israel is doing involves genocide, forceful expulsions, colonization and annexation. Gazans haven’t had running water or electricity for over a year now.
Yes, short term they will probably make a lot of money despite losing market share. But long term, it is one proprietary dependency that will be forever gone, unless open sourced.

If all they are using their PCs for is word processing and intranet webapps, perhaps they don’t need Windows anymore. It is not like ActiveX is supported anymore.
