More so the only way to get results that aren’t ad-filled webpages that are paid to be top Google results is to search for reddit posts. Unfortunately a lot of the newer reddit stuff seems to be regurgitated bot accounts reposting stuff, so most useful stuff on Reddit is from before the enshittification.

Some sites categorize SFW but skimpy stuff as “Suggestive” so they can be selectively filtered.
I’ve been using Sync since I made the switch after Reddit closed down 3rd party apps. I signed up to get Boost when they released it but never actually tried it out.

Serious answer: the Viking settlers named the land “Vinland” long before Columbus was even born. That name is of Germanic origin, same as the English language, and would be appropriate for settlers of Germanic origin (England, Germany, etc.)
Alternatively, a name in the a Native American language would be most appropriate given that they were the original inhabitants of the land.
Note: if you accidentally do this, do not hang up. Calmly tell the operator it was an accident a mistake. Hanging up will send your info to them and they will call back to make sure there isn’t an emergency.

It seems they took some liberties to do more cool action scenes that weren’t in the manga. Otherwise it seems almost the same content-wise so far. I like the way Momo looks in the manga; she seems more lighthearted at times.
Pocketbook devices mostly run on Linux, except for a few android models. I have the Pocketbook Basic Lux, and I side load manga onto a SD card for it. It has a bookstore that can be entirely ignored, and you can use it without ever connecting wifi. I use Kindle Comic Converter to resize all my manga to the same resolution of the screen to prevent artifacts when the software downscales the images, as well as significantly reducing file size. It has a very simple menu and does not come with any bloatware or unnecessary additions. It is simply an eReader.

This was spoiled for me since I didn’t play it until the PS2 era, and it still hit me hard and unexpectedly.
THIS! Me and my mom thought it was a fun fantasy story from the commercials. The kids going into the forest into another realm of fantasy creatures. All of that in the commercials was just 1 scene in the movie, and the rest was boring or heartbreaking. I will never forgive their marketing team.

While reddit has much more activity and posts due to the amount of users it has amassed over the years, I’ve found most of the stuff on the frontpage is just bots reposting the same memes over and over again to farm karma. On Lemmy, I see a lot more new OC and memes I wouldn’t see on Reddit.
The news posts seem to be about the same, but I find the comment section on Lemmy to be better for conversation. Reddit comment section on popular posts is basically just the top few comment chains, a lot of bots, and a plethora of single comments getting lost in the swarm.
Edit: to add to the second point, Lemmy feels a lot more engaging to me. If I reply to something on Reddit it most likely will not be seen by anybody unless it’s in a niche community.
