That’s also why I can say I didn’t care about the show that episode is a part of.
It stands on its own, and it could have been a footnote, or a few lines. A heartfelt scene, some light sorrow.
I’m so glad they chose to give it a full episode.

I don’t care about The Last of Us at all but I’ve watched that episode a few times.
It’s just such a perfect love story. Regardless of your orientation or views, it should hit home.
I might have suggested that one instead, but I just rewatched Pillows and Blankets last night!
There’s also the Dreamatorium episode but that’s a whole other mess.
Can’t wait for the movie!
Community, season 3, Pillows and Blankets.
It’s a campus wide pillow fight between two friends / armies done as a Ken Burns Civil War documentary.
I was so invested in the OT… and no more movies came, so I accepted there wouldn’t be more movies.
As such when they came out and were shitty, I didn’t mind as much.
That’s made it easier for me to dip in and enjoy some of the new content. I’m not expecting it to be good, and can be surprised when it is.
Hurricane in Florida in the 80s, but I was far enough inland to not be in danger. The eye of the storm is really spooky. Complete and utter silence.
Also the 1991 snowstorm in Duluth MN. Started snowing on Halloween and didn’t stop for three days. We had four feet of snow in the yard.
That was a lot of fun, the town was paralyzed for a couple of days until the plows started to get things in order.
Ah, right, Best Buy was the Geek Squad. That’s who would be hanging out there.
I assume the joke is (usually undocumented) people look for work in the parking lots of Home Depots, hoping to be hired for day labor, and the same may happen with the nerd glut in our culture and Best Buys.
I’ve never witnessed this as I live in a smaller city in Northern MN but it’s a cliche here in the States.
I guess 25ish years?
There’s a comedian I saw on An Evening at the Improv in the late 1980s who was doing a detective schtick.
The joke I remember is “Either this man was stabbed to death with a spoon, or his entire body is breaking out in little smiles.”
I searched and searched for the clip and finally found one link, just one…
That was me having asked the same question a decade prior.
Season six of Community ‘aired’ there.
I’m still pissed at NBC for selling “Six Seasons and a Movie” merchandise and then canceling after season five.
(And the movie is still coming.)
I would never trust anything Kennedy said.
Except for the fact that Vincent is only there without Jules because Jules quit. And Vincent was in the toilet because he was constipated because he’s a heroin addict.
If Jules hadn’t quit, Marcellus would not have been there. And Butch wouldn’t have known about any of those developments.
Although to back your theory up, Jules would’ve never left for doughnuts.
Definitely, my situation would not be normal in Minneapolis, where I was born and grew up. There it was a little more chaotic, longer lines, but still not terrible.
Minnesota hasn’t been one of those states desperately trying to keep people from voting, thankfully.
And we are trying to keep it that way.
We don’t have these issues here in Minnesota. Plenty of polling places, short lines.
Here in Duluth I live right across the street from the church that is a polling station. Never taken me more than ten minutes including the walk there and back.
Probably for at least a year.
I’m doing fine really, just stressed about money. Working overtime where I can and keeping expenses low.
I play D&D with friends twice a week. Low cost, high imagination way to hang out.
The main issue is that we took in someone in need this last summer who can’t pay their own way and for now, we are shouldering the difference.
It’s worthwhile but taxing.
Yup, like the others, I’m broke. Month to month barely getting by. Gotta trim back where I can.
