I went with buying raw land out of the city, for me it’s a 30 minute drive and no traffic, my “rent” is under $200 for the year of property taxes. I own the land for less than 1 year of rent.

I can live in an RV, and I can build a house or convert a shed to live in so it’s super affordable, plus I have room for a garden to feed my family.

I sold my matrix recently, nice car, good gas Mileage, plenty of space to haul stuff when the seats fold down (I somehow hauled a 53” tool box in it once). Little weird the trunk is plastic, but has tie down rails. I miss the car a lot, but I moved out of state and could only drive one car.

The chemicals almost never work and they will make the plumber mad they have to deal with such toxic stuff.

I usually start with a plunger (we have one for the sink, and another for the toilet) If that doesn’t work then it’s better to just snake it. They sell little snakes and manual ones.

I just moved out of Los Angeles. LA is crazy.

My first car in college got broken into, they stole my Sub in the trunk and my CDs, but they couldn’t get the radio out and broke the faceplate.

I felt so f-ing violated. It was my first car, my home away from home, my freedom to go places. I was traumatized like ptsd. That lasted a long time.

6 months later the entire car was gone, they stole it. Police took 2-3 days to find it. There was no tires, no engine, no muffler, and the interior was trashed.

I was destroyed for a long time after that. Fuck thieves!!!

I threw a Xmas party at my house with friends, and one “friend” had a new girlfriend and they went into the bathroom and stole a ton of my moms makeup, jewerly, and other stuff.

Then maybe a month later that same guy poured white paint on my car windows. What a nice friend I had.

I had another friend move out of state, and he left me to take care of his dog for a few months… turns out he stole $1000 worth of stuff from my house, canceled my phone plan and never came back for his dog.

My wife was almost kidnapped as a kid, it freaked her out and when she was home she had her parents check all the cabinets for the kidnapper.

Years later someone broke into her attic, which the stairs led into her bedroom. That one also really freaked her out. She knew who the guy was too. I saw him once and he gave me a nasty look and I took his picture lol

So glad to be out of LA now.

What annoys me the most is since his last drama, Linus HAS to be the face in every video now! Wtf it used to be a bunch of them took turns making videos, and it was fun seeing everyone work on different things. He has to be front and get all the attention, it just feels weird now.

Maybe use privacy.com instead (they also have an app), they can generate virtual credit cards and you can set limit is (one time payment, or monthly $10 only, etc). It’s great if you need to cancel something or if they try to charge you extra. Saved me $150 when boost tried to charge me 1 year after I bought a phone from them!

It’s also great for predatory services like GYM membership that you can’t cancel.

Linus usually likes to rant about it on the WAN show then they usually make a clip for YouTube, but weird he didn’t do that for honey, maybe he didn’t know how far the scam went.

That’s why I did not buy an eco flow or jackary. Too many influencers was a turn off. I went with BLUETTI.

I still see a lot of Datsuns on the road. Always wanted a little pickup like theirs.

Maybe it was just the models I saw that fell apart, not every Nissan. The only ones I saw that bad were the ones that came into the shop to have something fixed unrelated to all the broken stuff.

I guess, the owners took their cars into the shop to fix (X) and nothing else, even though there was so much wrong they didn’t want it fixed.

Yikes, sorry to hear about your accord! That’s just crazy.

I stopped caring about cars newer than about 2012 or so, when they all got touch screen info centers that sell the driving data to the insurance companies. Just makes me sick.

I worked at a mechanic shop years ago and every Nissan that came in was falling apart, but they were all older 90s ones. Seats that don’t stay up, plastic panels broken and missing, glove boxes opened, latches and knobs broken, etc.

I owned a Mitsubishi before and it was like a Honda civic but way lower quality. It held up ok except when the brakes didn’t want to work when I really needed them. Yes I rear ended a few times until I decided to SCRAP the car at the junkers.

I owned several Hondas and they all were good quality (mostly 80-90s and a 2000). Usually basic maintenance it all it needed.

Honda is known for quality, and every old Nissan I see falls apart. I hope this doesn’t tank the quality of Honda.

I use a small GPD win laptop. It can game and it’s super small, I think 7 inch touchscreen. Battery last a few hours and recharges with USB-C (I use solar to charge it). I run Linux on it now and it’s been good. I upgraded the SSD to 1tb Samsung NVMe, and it’s nice the laptop has a micro SD slot to empty my camera and drone.

Or a MacBook Air if you want a larger screen.

But if you have notifications , I know those were compromised.

Also would be good to know which instances are defederated from each instance.

They want you going to the dealer, so they can upsell more maintenance and repair costs.

I would think a disabled person would need more money to survive in this world than someone not disabled.
