It USED to be a decent source for news and updates on stuff but that’s long gone. I deleted my account just before that weird billionaire guy bought it and don’t regret it one bit.

As one of those that easily destroy an XL pizza in one go… why is that terrifying?

I Mean, overall I don’t eat all that much… I never eat breakfast and very rarely eat lunch, so one or two meals a day for me (historically a very active person) has to be large to make up for the times I don’t have time (or want) to stop and eat. So it takes at least a large pizza or like two boxes of Mac & cheese to even come close to refilling my fuel tank.

They probably won’t get rid of elections… they’ll just have sham elections like Russia has to give the impression of “legitimacy” but I guarantee they’ll be heavily rigged in their favor.

When I first heard it my brain convinced me that the lyrics were “Snap my Picture” for some reason.

Then I saw the video.

I’d love to see something similar to reddit enhancement suite.

My guess is it’s similar to the electric motors they put in cars vs industrial motors… they can both put out X amount of power but the industrial ones (or in this case the laptop power) can do it continuously without overheating while the other can only output “up to” that power rating for a short time without burning up.

In this case though, the laptop power probably also outputs a higher voltage as well.

You can do that with the 9 volt batteries and feel how much “tingle” they have, but never heard of it working with aa batteries. Wouldn’t he have to stick the whole thing in his mouth to complete the circuit?

Have they tried turning their government off and on again?

I think she’s gotten a few jobs off there in the past but she’s always on the hunt for better/ more stable gigs. I’ll have a chat with her and find out for sure. Thanks for the tips

Thanks for the tips. I know she’s been looking at some other places as well and she has gotten a few jobs here and there but nothing major. She’s gone to school for video editing and she’s pretty good at it (fatherly bias kicking in here) but she’s always looking for something to help fill in her time.

That’s my thought on it as well. I only knew she was on that site a little while ago and right off the bat the address sounded off to me so I started digging in to it only to find that whoever is running it REALLY doesn’t seem to want anyone to know who they are, which is raising all sorts of alarm bells in my head, but my daughter is insisting “lots of youtubers go there looking for jobs.”

That means nothing to me, because I know how easy it can be to look like a busy legit site when the reality is anything but. And the fact that whoever is running it is actively trying to hide their info is very concerning to me.

My glasses. My flashlight. My coffee cup. Pretty much anything I’m holding when I’m doing multiple things. I’ll put something down somewhere to do something else and my brain simply will NOT record where I put it.

I’ve owned a car like that. Drove that thing for years until the driver’s side door fell off and I parked it.

I don’t know if my energy levels had anything to do with adhd or if it was just a unrelated companion, but I’ve always been that way. Sugar was banned in my house I think because my mother thought I’d implode if I got my mitts on any. I couldn’t even sit long enough to watch a whole movie from start to finish until I was in my 30’s.

Sitting still and not being bored senseless. I was a hyperactive kid with adhd, having to sit anywhere for more than 10 minutes was the bane of my existence.

Oh ya, it’s fine… It took a while to get used to having slightly shorter fingers, and it feels weird as hell when you bump things with them without the normal fingertip padding (Now it’s just skin and bone hitting things) but I’m used to it.
