True, you don’t need zigbee2mqtt but the device compatibility between z2m and zha varies.
https://zigbee.blakadder.com/ is a pretty good source to check device compatibility.
That being said, I personally use zha and before buying a new Zigbee device I check the page mentioned above.
What a headline…!
I already wondered if it’s a daily daily newspaper.
It wasn’t even the cheapest I could get. I rented a .de-domain from dogado.de, because I have made very good experiences with their customer services in the past.
Just yesterday I rented a tld for 2€/year and got it to update via my router’s ddns feature using deSEC. Other similar services are available and I think that many domain rental services even offer their own ddns-like update routes.
All in all it wasn’t that difficult, really. And imo an own tld is much nicer than having to rely on some subdomain of a ddns service.
So far (and yes, that is after less than one day) I definitely do recommend this.
Apparently publishing malware and the likes is quite easy, but publishing well-established foss software isn’t.
What they’re saying is basically: We have no clue if 3D-printing can cause cancer, but better be careful.
Yeah, I didn’t know that before.
Wtf are they talking about. (rhetorical question)
This schmuck tells the world that AI will find a solution to climate change if we were only to let it consume more coal.
We already know exactly what it would take to save the planet.
What we need is people willing to go the way wholeheartedly.
Away with this dude. He serves no purpose to society.
Thanks to this tool I could successfully retrieve the money spent on an SD card from AliExpress. (And yes, I’m a fool for buying one there in the first place.)
A headline that wouldn’t have been possible five years ago. Sick.
Why is it that stuff written in Go always has to tell you that it is written in Go? As a user I don’t choose apps based on the language they’re written in? (Serious question.)
🎵 I just want to be an international executive sales marketing analyst! 🎵
$10/month would be cheap if it would cover every movie and show you’d want to watch. It used to be that but nowadays you need about ten different subscriptions in order to get what you want, plus many more if you use SaaS. So you end up paying ~$200/month for everything.
IMO, Spotify still “works” and music piracy probably is not as common as movie piracy, because Spotify has close to everything one would want to listen to.
I’m pretty sure the ‘forever’ part refers to the payment model.
Some people pay in order to be able to anonymously download movies. (Totally not me though, as that’s illegal.)
Considering this, what’s the world / society we’re living in? Fuel punk? Fossil punk?
Betteridge’s law of headlines
And after all, current “AI” models are just one step on a longer way, which is what I read as the conclusion of the article.
