The tax being on your income and not entirely on corporations always felt like a fairly biased distinction. If companies paid the entire income tax long before it got to you, and you were simply paid ~2/3rds as much, I feel like people’s opinions would be different despite not much changing.

Why are heroes so important? Role models are one thing, but hero worship is an incredibly problematic concept especially at a young age. The idea of an unquestionably good person is a myth that lends itself to authoritarianism, and that should die a slow agonizing death. My understanding is that EMPs are more of a concern for the tiny electronics on computers versus relatively large motors or batteries. So, an electric vehicle is still at risk, but I don’t think it’d be any more at risk than any ICE car that’s all computerized anyways.

While I’m positive the situation you describe occurs, it is a rarity. Even when using sex toys with one partner you want to clean them after use, same way you would a dinner plate (especially funny given how many are dishwasher safe).

That being said, I do typically try to send sex toys along with previous partners, and only really dive into their use once a relationship gets more serious - if someone absolutely needs them to be satisfied sexually, they probably own their own.
