Sounds interesting, I think I’ll give the show a listen.

As i get older and take care of myself, its easier to love myself, and thus, its easier to love other people and receive their love too.
Really well said.
I too started to face the consequences of my lifestyle in my late 20’s. I was fat, sedentary, ate junk, smoked, drank and my back started to hurt. I can’t really tell what motivated me to turn my life around. Could be I wanted to live a long and healthy life out of spite. Anyway, I’m way healthier now than I was 10 or 15 years ago. The effort is worth it.
Snapped a picture of my bike.

I don’t think that getting rid of bot accounts would be a good choice. It feels like half of all reddit activity is from bot reposters and comments.

I was 20-something years old. I drank waaaay too much at a party, it made me really sick. Sworn I’ll never put alcohol in my mouth ever again. Kept my promise for like a whole week.

It’s pre-Eurovision season so… a bunch of 'em.
I think the biggest flaw lemmy has is the upvote/downvote system, same as on reddit. The arrows are used as an agree/disagree indicator, which buries unpopular opinions and rewards popular “low-risk” ones, thus creating the same echo-chambers we’re all so tired of.
