Conservative media comes through plenty in the form of business, tech and mainstream media sources 🙄
Don’t confuse the fact that Republicans have become degenerate doesn’t mean their ideas are the basis of conservative ideology.
Yeah the only change here is room for plausible deniability. There will still be regular meetings between the companies, just not in the “board room”. As if that matters.
They’re installing this hate for liberals both in tankies…
Man I didn’t realize Phil Oches was a Russian agent. Leftist criticism of liberal hypocrisy is nothing new, just new to you.
Philanthropy has always been a PR calculation to keep the masses from revolting against the accumulation of wealth.
Jacobin - Bill Gates Chooses Corporate Patent Rights Over Human Lives
New Republic - How Bill Gates Impeded Global Access to Covid Vaccines
I can keep going if that’s not enough to read. Also lol at you trusting a governmental committee report.
Fuck Gates, he is responsible for many heinous things, most recently encouraging pharma companies to patent publicly funded covid vaccines, which has denied access to the global population, which then encourages mutations.
I don’t care what he is saying whether it’s good or not there are better people worth listening to on the subject. Billionaires are not the answer to the world’s problems, they are the cause of them.
Were you yourself ignorant to this?
Yes dude, piss bottles in the warehouse are a meme at this point. Working conditions in the warehouses have been making headlines since people died due to overheating way back in 2013.
Idk what point you’re trying to make. Are you saying we need to make signs for how Amazon abuses it’s employees?
I don’t care if he does or does not, the point is Amazon’s ruthless exploitation of the working class is not an unknown fact.
Ignorance is not an excuse.
No pass granted. Amazon is currently hiring their anti-union lawyers as direct warehouse managers to fight the unionization efforts at KCVG Airhub. There is no excuse in 2024 to take a gig from this company and not understand who you are getting in bed with.
non-walkable city.
If the city is built ass backwards it would be a better investment to address that than start mining resources on the moon. Idk that’s just me though.
I strongly disagree meta’s involvement is necessary for the fediverse to grow and become big. Snowballing is a very real thing and as long as growth continues to happen, that will encourage more growth.
The threat of meta is a huge jump in growth, and communities that then centralize around those users. Once popular communities are established on meta servers, they have control. If they choose to split or defederate those communities on the non-meta side of the fence would be back to square one building from scratch. That is the problem and if we don’t see it for what it is we will be left with nothing.
That’s awesome!
I learned DAWs with ProTools back around 2006 in college. Dropped out because I didn’t want to enter a competitive trade where my best opportunities were moving out of state.
Got sucked into another industry and haven’t touched much audio for the past decade. Getting back into it now and started on Audacity but the 2021 buyout had me confused where to land with the Tenacity split. the good/bad of open source I suppose but as a user being in the middle of a split was frustrating and detracting from recording. Finding out about Reaper and talking to people leaving ProTools behind even within the industry was just what I needed when I needed it.
My daughter (11yo) is now getting into DAWs as her current goal is to score an internship at KEXP, being able to share with her all the stuff I learned in school has been so much fun.
They already have the staff, this would just be a project current staff manages.
Has it been 6 months already?
Well written and glad to see professional outlets sharing their experience with Activity Pub.
Audacity is a great learning tool for intro absolutely! When you’re just dipping your toes into recording and editing, free and $60 is a huge difference.
I feel like users that are going to be using any of the features of this plug-in, they’re probably at the point that going to Reaper makes sense.
This stuff is great. Not a vegetarian but I eat plenty of protein alternatives because of family. Un-Meat Plant Based Luncheon Meat Style (you have to say the whole thing) is actually preferable to spam.
