  • Those dht11 sensors are garbage tho. Best case they are wildly off on their humidity sensor. Worst case they keep breaking and shows nonsense readings. I would recommend bme280 sensor instead. If you read about them you might see people complain that they are reading too high temperatures, but in my experience its because they are misconfigured. Default settings have a very high sampling rate of multiple samples per second that heats up the sensor a tiny bit giving you the offset. Lowering the sampling rate or turn the sensor off completely in between readings gives really precise measurements on both temperatures and humidity.

Rule number one about taking medicin. You can absolutely decide for yourself if and how much of the medicine you want to take. If you feel bad after a dose you can just stop. If you feel 30mg is better for you just do that instead (split pills or ask your doc to give you 10mg that you can dose up and down yourself). NOONE IS FORCING YOU TO TAKE IT. If your don’t feel safe about it absolutely just don’t take them. This medication is not dangerous to quit on cold turkey (unlike some antidepressants) so do what makes for feel good and talk to your doc about trying other variations of the same meds to find the right thing.

  • Well all i can say is that every time my bike was stolen it was locked with a heavy duty chain, or in a locked basement, or in a locked cage-room in the basment so the thieves have no chill. My biggest mistake was probably that it wasnt locked to an immovable solid pole in the ground but you cannot always find that whereever you need to park, and a thin bikerack that is the only thing you can find in the city is so easy to cut open for thieves that they’ll cut that instead of the lock so no lock will help here either. Thieves are lazy so making it look like it’ll take hours to make the bike resellable is the only true option together with a heavy duty chain like the abus city chain x-plus

  • This is drastisc i know, but it works: lots of electrical tape spray paint, coffee grounds, sawdust and more spray paint. Be sure to tape/paint over all brand names and emblems so the bike looses its identity. Put random pieces of ducttape on a few cables and gear changer. Never wash it and always leave it a bit dusty. Basically make it look like garbage and not worth the effort. It should look unsellable. I did this after having 3 bikes stolen within a year. Now i can hopefully have it a bit longer. Protip: use foil paint /plastic dip so its technically reversible.

Hey, you are okay as you are. Thanks for sharing because that’s a really important skill to have.

You sound depressed or maybe just a moment of weaknes is flowing over you, but in any case it’s always good to talk to your doctor about it. If you don’t like your doctor get a new one. I have before stayed too long with a bad doctor and it was a revelation when I moved house and was forced to change. Having a good doctor to talk to about depression, ADHD and mental health is just so important, and a great help.

I hope you’ll feel better soon. Stay safe.
