Hmm. I suppose the “solution” is to just start it again on another instance and link to that version for archived material. Thanks!
My most played Steam game is hilariously Tametsi. It’s a Minesweeper spin-off with different layouts and shapes and zero guessing required for its ~200 puzzles. Some of the later puzzles require some absolutely bonkers chains of logic to figure out. It helps there’s a fantastic YouTube series of videos by innocentive going through puzzle solutions that are some of the most relaxing and entertaining things I’ve ever watched. He almost always points to the next thing you need to consider first, so you can just pause a video after he mentions where the next step is and follow the logic yourself rather than spending hours hunting for it.
You can see the remains here: https://sh.itjust.works/c/synthesizers@lemm.ee I made my new account a moderator of the community before lemm.ee went down, but I actually am not familiar enough with Lemmy to know what that means. There’s no owner anymore?
That would explain the smell and the taste. The one upside to this is that stingray meat never really goes “bad”. It pickles itself. Which as I understand it is the reason people started eating it despite the awfulness.
Either live octopus or raw stingray. The former is chopped up and dipped in spicy sauce to make it writhe. The latter absolutely reeks of piss (stingrays are full of ammonia apparently). Silkworm larva are surprisingly delicious.
Huh? I don’t think I’ve ever used a rental car service that didn’t require a credit card. Exactly so they can charge for this sort of thing.
I meant for marriageable material for a woman.
Just shows how fucking low the bar was back then.
It’d be incredibly unrealistic to have them have any degree of success given the ease of determining their motive and potential targets, and the sheer amount of resources the police would undoubtedly throw at finding someone who was killing oligarchs.
Korea is facing a huge population crisis in the not-so-distant future. They already have ties to the U.S., too.
I have the problem where I live in a country where I do not speak the language of the majority. Libraries aren’t much use to me, here. I do have a card, though. I should see if they do the epub lending thing in English.
I have a large phone and I make the text pretty tiny, but I agree. My eyes aren’t quite what they used to be, and I can tell I’ll probably be hitching the font size up sometime to the point where frequent page turns might get annoying.
Reading. Books are super easy to ahem find. OLED screens make reading really comfortable at night. Black background, dark orange text, and turn off all the lights and it’s like text is floating in the air in front of you. There are plenty of epub readers out there. Moonreader is my favorite. I paid $5 for it years and years ago now. Absolutely worth it.
Used to be 18 or 20, then I had a kid and 2 became the norm.
“개새끼” (pronounced gay sek ee) literally translates to “dog baby”. “Son of a bitch” in Korean. It’s honestly the only example I can think of in Korean. I guess you also hear “돼지” (pronounced dway ji) meaning “pig” for fat people. Pretty bog standard around here I guess.
Something about Jude Law sets me on edge. Like I’m chewing tinfoil or something. I don’t really know why.
