I don’t make phone calls and rarely use SMS. All the features I need/want from a phone would be missing.

NAS + Tailscale + Kodi is the easiest to setup for me. Works really good.

An overly compressed 4k stream will look far worse than a good quality 1080p. We keep upping the resolution without getting newer codecs and not adjusting the bitrate.
