Yeah… But these are multi-ton vehicles and when they crash people die. Unlike when your computer crashes.

Posts, not comments. But sure. I can do that.
Furries, gay porn, sports, and posts in languages I don’t understand.
Food stamps or Ferrari. Sounds like you already have the former
The what?
Anyone else curious about the off-camera person who sounds like a cowering goblin?
Charging at higher voltage is more efficient (at least on electric vehicles) but also your phone is such a relatively small battery it barely matters. Avoid wireless charging as it is extremely inefficient.
I guess some sort of radar could identify solid objects in nearly any condition… Hmm…
Don’t you think the people selling it would want to sell it at the higher medical grade price than to fucking Dollar Tree one bottle at time? Given the choice they would provide it for medical use.
Tell me you only read the headline
Two days ago they sent an update to their TOS that they will require arbitration and to reply to their legal department to “opt out”.
There is an LTT video on this subject if you care to look for it.
Aren’t these the same guys who have an unenforced policy on minors using their platform? Gosh if they didn’t protect the kids then what’s with the change of heart now?
Oh, right, protectionist policies.
Remember when they took the X handle away from someone?
Which altruistic thing is it that the AI that pays your bills does? It appears to me that AI is used for acceleration of war, deceit, and theft and conglomeration of ideas and art with no unique thoughts or perspectives. The people who own the technology will use it to enrich themselves at the expense of those who can not afford it. This is what I mean.
“There is nothing wrong with AI, it pays my bills” = “I got mine fuck you”
Dirty water is bad for cooling equipment
While I don’t disagree with the statement around privacy in public, I would encourage you to temper that thought with the realization that when that was developed we did not have the ability to be everywhere at once with cameras or fly drones over people’s homes or track cellphones with GPS or use computers to process this information.
This information can and has been abused.
Maybe we should change our expectations to SOME privacy in public.
Tax payers determine the amount of taxes their school districts receive to pay employees and make capital expenditures. The community needs to offer more pay, be more affordable, or suffer the consequences of under funded districts.
It’s called consensus. Have three sensors and each get a vote. Typically these sensors are the same and thus can detect a failure or incorrect reading of one. This idea is used in IT around data backups and RAID configurations as well as aviation. And … I personally would just favor the radar. If vision says go and radar says stop… stop and avoid hitting that firetruck parked on the highway. Or that motorcyclist. Or any other bizarre vision-only, fatal crashes that this system has wrought.
Also humans can hear things. So, not just vision.
