12·3 months agoIn my experience, most of the tech layoffs have been non-devs. PMs and Designers have been the hardest hit and often their roles are being eliminated.
4·3 months agoThe ground effects look great but are likely impossible on a streetable car. It’s gonna look like an 80s Supra or RWD Celica.

I wish it was a better situation in Apple land. Gotta dodge Apple Arcade, Apple Music, Apple TV nags with every update.
2·4 months agoThey also offer it on the Z4 with the Handschalter package. Pretty sure this will be the last year of the Z4 tho.
I am in Phoenix and just took one to the airport. First time riding in a Waymo. It was uncannily good and much more confident than the FSD Tesla I’ve ridden in a few times.
I’ve worked with a few PMs over my 12 year career that think devs are really only there to code like trained monkeys.

I drove a Dodge Shadow with a Mitsubishi V6 to two first places in Lemons.
I recently had to replace my Mac and was not at all happy with the ridiculous 8GB default. Ended up getting my first Windows machine in 10+ years. Same for my sis, she really wanted a Mac but work was only going to shell out $1500. You can get a helluva Windows machine for $1500 (64GB of RAM and 2TB HD). Sure it may not be “Retina” or have an insane color profile, but like great TVs, most people can’t tell unless they’re right next to a superior one.
Only some fundamentalists believe that Genesis is literal. And not just Christians.
Plenty of folks in the real world still know murder is wrong, even when the murdered person has done heinous acts.
That said, I think this development was inevitable. People will only take so much inequality before taking matters into their own hands. I just hope we avoid the decent into anarchy that defined the lead up to WW1.
