Unrelated, but what’s up with the title being Earth.exe has crashed. That sounds kinda serious.

Wow, same thing happened to me 20 years ago in Texas. I was suspended for a seed they found in the ashtray.
American here, agree with this stance, most of our chocolate tastes like shit. I blame Hershey.

That’s interesting I didn’t think about that fourth point, but whenever I get a verification SMS it does always come from a 5 digit number.
Just pulled the trigger, only had European plugs in stock. I’ve got adapters so np. I’m getting it to replace my Raspberry Pi router that I’ve been using for a few years.
*Edit, I should say I’m a huge fan openWRT despite the fact that 15 years ago I managed to brick my linksys router so bad it actually caused sparks to shoot out the ethernet jacks. I flashed the wrong model firmware.
AI is just trending. NFTs and before that crypto had their moment, and they really were everywhere. It was shoehorned into places that didn’t even make sense. And I think sane investors realized that and pulled out.
I also think the chicken or egg question isn’t great and agree that it evolved over a long span of time, multiple times. The oscillation between the proto species and species is really interesting to think about and makes a lot of sense. Thanks for your insight.
It’s always the egg because the thing that laid what we consider a genetic chicken egg wasn’t an animal that we consider a genetic chicken. Mutations happen in utero or whatever it’s called when a baby is growing in an egg
Yeah man, this was a wild ride. You absolutely did the right thing ignoring this dude. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10637253/Florida-broadcaster-paid-millions-air-Russian-propaganda-radio.html
I wonder if that is related to the Tim Pool, Russian influence for money, story that broke last month.
Lol, that’s how I read it too and it got me thinking about the most inconsequential change I could make in my life in the last 24 hours. Maybe I’d get an extra ketchup packet with my lunch combo. Mission accomplished I guess.
If I’m being honest the only Microsoft product I actually like is Excel.
Oh yeah, I totally agree with you that governments should at least host their own Mastodon instances. I thought it was weird when Twitter became the go to for communication from the US Government.
I haven’t tried caddy but I’ve heard good things. I’ve used nginx in the past. I’m currently using Traefik and have been for a few years now. Once it’s set up its pretty great.
This is how I set up my reverse proxy and it works really well with wildcard SSL certs. Only need one certificate for as many sites as I want!
Look, I’m no guillotine-ologist, but I think if I was going to construct one I would forgo my usual method of measure once and cut 5 to 10 times until I have to go get another board because I’ve destroyed the last one.
I wish there was some version of PBS for Lemmy, like public funds for hosting. I’ll admit I haven’t really thought this through, so there’s probably some problems with my idea.
Speaking of creole, I started making a roux for gumbo yesterday and burned it after prepping the veggies and meat. We are pizza last night. But today I’m doing the slow 4 hours in the oven roux so I don’t mess it up again.
8tb on one chip? As Bill Gates once said “Damn, that’s a shit load of ram.”
Ahhh, I gotcha, feel the same. Cheers!
