Really? I don’t remember the last time I replaced an LED bulb. I replaced one old CFL with an LED when it died last year, but before that… I genuinely can’t remember an LED bulb dying. And I buy the cheap ones. Are yours being overheated? Maybe you have really bad power quality?

I know ultrasonic humidifiers are a thing, but I’ve never heard of using sound for materials drying. I suspect gentle heating would be far more effective. And the ultrasonic would probably degrade the material as well.
But give it a shot and see if it works.
One tidbit the article neglects to mention: the rapid heating from a cold start often caused a critical failure in an old filament, which is why bulbs would most often burn out right when you turned them on. You’d get that quick flash, maybe a pop, and the light would be dead. First you’d flip the switch on and off a few times, then go fumble around for the bulbs (hopefully not in the dark), then fumble around replacing the bulb. And hopefully you left the switch off, or remembered to look away while screwing it in, else it’d blind you when the new one came on.

That doesn’t seem to be true, because I just set the default launcher to the pixel launcher, and it didn’t change at all. Maybe it is just an integration thing. Maybe if I use regular Play services instead of the sandboxed one.
Edit: never mind, that doesn’t seem possible. Oh well, I can live without it.
Edit2: apparently the app I installed was not the Pixel launcher app, because it’s not available as a separate app.
Hmm… I don’t think it’s part of the pixel launcher, because I’ve been using it with Lawnchair for years. I’ve installed the pixel launcher and it hasn’t shown up as an option again yet.
That works, but I can’t activate it by gesture and the tile doesn’t show the app I want, only the tile pulldown, so it’s useless.
But either way that’s not the function I was thinking of. What’s the one on the task view that lets you select text or images? Or is there another way to invoke the “select text or images on the screen” functionality?

Here in Germany we are extensively educated about what happened in the 3rd Reich. It’s a big part about our education to learn and understand what horrible things happened and why they happened to make sure this never happens again. This kinda lead to the point where many Germans are deeply ashamed just for being a German (even though they’re quite far detached from what happened) and this is also a reason why you won’t find many German flags hanging here.

The original article just says “salt water”, so I assume sodium chloride as well, which means it’s probably not useful for most food products. The original paper might have more details, but I’m not bothered enough to try getting it while on my phone.
