Eh the authoritarian capitalists who love the CCP generally seem to embrace the fact that China is authoritarian - they see it as a good thing!

I’ve spent a solid 30-40 hours playing it since December last year so I’d say it’s pretty fun and playable! IIRC it has prototypes up to the interplanetary phase though only the single-cell and multicellular stages were really playable when I last gave them a go.
I’m a big fan of Thrive!
Lol I hardly think that companies like EA or Microsoft are “honest businesses” or “small artist[s]”, fuckers have made billions of dollars through their anticompetitive monopolistic bullshit.
I used to run FreeBSD on my laptop on high school, worked pretty good - even stuff like wifi and bluetooth with a bit of effort - but the battery life was atrocious compared to Linux or Windows.
It’s also on F-Droid if your TV doesn’t have the Google Play Services - I run LineageOS on my TV box!
AFAIK every single ebook reader on the market actually runs Linux under the hood!
So it’s basically just a Kindle but you don’t have to use an exploit to gain root access?
I prefer Organic Maps as an OSM Android App, I’ve found it to be a bit easier to use and more reliable than OsmAnd!
I used to be a big fan of Opera back when it was good but I wouldn’t recommend using anything made by them since they got bought out by a shady Chinese company that makes their money off of predatory payday loan apps with exploitative interest rates in a few developing nations. Firefox (and Mull and the like) are the best Android web browsers but if you really want a Chromium-based one then I’d recommend looking into using one that’s open source and not owned by an unethical corporation.
Looking at how Valve acted when called out for breaking Australian consumer protection laws I sure as hell hope not!
Valve and Steam have pulled their fair share of shady anti-consumer moves, like the time they violated Aussie and EU consumer protection laws with their refund policy (fucking EA Origin had refunds years before Steam); there have also been allegations of it being a toxic workplace with a trans former employee claiming she was referred to as “it” by her manager.
Simple Mobile Tools (Simple Contacts etc.) cost money for the full version on Play but you can get it for free on F-Droid or GitHub!
I think you’ve got a bit of a misconception about FOSS software - you’re allowed to make money selling it, you just also have to provide the source code to any customers! A fair few FOSS apps have free versions on F-Droid but paid versions on the Play store, for example.
Not sure if it works for this specific gDrive error but usually when I wanna download something but Drive won’t let me I add a shortcut to it in a folder in my own gDrive account alongside a dummy text file, then I right click on the folder and download the whole thing as a ZIP.
That probably depends on the program and the specific crack that you’re trying to use. These things vary drastically depending on the DRM used and even the person/team that wrote the crack. Could try putting a bit more information in your post?
You’ll probably have to use containers or VMs if you want to be able to control Kodi via the HTTP API (eg. remote control apps or the web ui) while also being able to access the Pi-Hole web ui.
For pirating with Kodi I’d recommend looking into a Debrid service combined with an addon like Umbrella or Seren and a nice skin such as Arctic Horizon.
AFAIK the most secure way to host stuff on your home network is to set up a locked down, firewalled VLAN for it.
I haven’t used it myself but I’ve heard that Ventoy is a fair bit easier than doing it manually!
Kodi with a debrid service works great for me, the one I use has had maybe 2-3 days worth of downtime in the 3 and a half years that I’ve been using it!
