I can’t compare it to pigallery, but imo it really isn’t fully usable. Lots of bugs for me. I’m still running it but waiting for it to be ready to replace Google photos. It has transcoding errors in the logs and file tracking issues (extra files). All of my recent motion photos are not detected. And I have read on GitHub that they are still working on fleshing out automated repair tasks.
It would be cool if they offered a local client to do the AI processing but it’s not hard to see a few problems with that. It would be pretty difficult to sustain.
As someone that’s never used any of those services, what’s the difference between this and bypass paywalls clean?
If you create an LXC, then go to Resources --> Add --> Mount point, then you can basically just mount the proxmox drives / folder as a folder within the LXC environment.
I think what they’re getting at is that most people wouldn’t be able to afford this treatment.
I had some similar issues with all of my voice recognition / responses being very slow… I am running on home assistant supervised on top of Proxmox. What solved the issue for me was changing the CPU type to ‘host’ in Proxmox. I guess the recognition may rely on some CPU extensions being available.
it really sucks to have to walk past these cameras… no consent needed apparently but the privacy implications are huge
mainly just a new Wi-Fi module right?
Add each hardware NIC to its own Linux bridge. Add two VNICs to the opnsense VM. In proxmox gui, assign an address to the LAN Linux bridge for the management interface. That’s what I do and I’ve had no problems for over a year. It works fine with near 1gbps symmetrical connection.
As a lurker I mostly just vote. But gotta post every once in a while to add to active users stat!
Can you show how you filed down the samsung bar?
