So like every other day?
So like every other day?
Airplanes, though I suspect they will never be truly without someone to assist in case of emergency.
Cars have to contend with a number of random obstacles and unique challenges. Planes have defined runways and taxiways and, via autopilot and GPS, their flight paths are relatively easily defined and controlled.
The sky over one city is pretty much like any other. Main Street not so much.
That would have been an instant return for me.
This might sound odd, but start listening to metal music.
A lot of the lyrics in these songs are aggressive and downright violent (especially if you start listening to death metal and black metal), and for me, it helps to release my emotion.
For example, many people think “I want to punch that person right in their dumb face”. Listening to a song that talks about doing it, and mentally visualizing it, is very cathartic. I don’t really know how to explain it, but just letting go to the music and having it take all your rage and frustration helped me a lot going through similar situations.
Just thinking about the smell is making me gag. Yuck.
Take that back, Green Bean Casserole (when done properly) is amazing! And FYI it’s French fried onions on top, not corn flakes.
Although I will grant you the wings thing sounds bad.
This is the way, and exactly what I would recommend. Apple laptops are insanely efficient with their battery and performance per watt.
The only other thing that really tries to rival it would be the new Surface Laptop with the Qualcomm Snapdragon, but that’s because it’s just a MacBook Air clone that runs Windows instead. By all accounts, I’ve heard it does very well, but at least the MBA I’m completely confident.
And, the more general purpose they can be, means they could be live-in assistants as well. Would insurance rather past for a device to keep you in your own home versus moving you to a care facility?
Hopefully it’s more Jetsons and less I, Robot.
My human,
Why should those through whom we speak or communicate also the managers and enforcers of said speech?
As we’ve seen with Reddit and others, your content and history are already cataloged. Are you sure the thing you say today won’t be used against you tomorrow?
There are already mechanisms to deal with illegal activity online.
Privacy to live one’s life and express one’s opinions without fear of retaliation, reprisal, or identification is one of, if not the most important things we have as individual citizens. Do not ever, ever, ever give it up without a fight.
General Waverly walks out in uniform to find his old unit waiting for him. (“White Christmas”)
You’re right, I am. Thanks, friend. :D

On topic, I agree with you. Really like the community here and exciting to see it continue to grow.
Doesn’t look like the guy in the photos. That guy had a coat on. Not guilty.
I suspect many orgs were waiting to see if Microsoft blinked and pushed the date. Now with only 10 months to go to Win10 EoL, they don’t have a choice anymore.
Truly, the king of efficiency. Dumbass.
I used to have a microwave that the popcorn button worked perfectly in and it was amazing.
After it died we replaced it with the same make and model and the new one’s popcorn button is crap. I’ve now timed how long the bags need to be in, so I just put that in instead. Never use the popcorn button anymore. It’s annoying but effectively it just is two extra buttons before starting so it’s not horrible.
Although now I have one of those electric kettle popcorn makers like the movie theater and pretty much only use that now. But it definitely can’t match microwave popcorn for convenience.
Used to be on an odd schedule when I worked overnight.
My work shifts were Thursday to Saturday, 1800 - 0500. So Sunday, when I got off at 0500, I’d stay awake until around 1900 (being up for ~26 hours) and then to go bed. Wake up Monday morning and have a normal Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, then stay up all night Wednesday night until Thursday morning (another 26 hour stint) and the go to bed Thursday morning so I could then go to work at 1800 Thursday night again.
Did that for about a year and it actually worked out reasonably well, but not something I’d entertain now that I’m older.
That schedule is also the reason all my clocks are always set for 24-hour time and I can still fall asleep in broad daylight without any trouble.
Some in one bucket, most in the other.
Everyone I went to high school with. Although to be fair, they did the same. So I guess win-win?
Elaborate death traps for my enemies.
Working fine for me.
