If you mean “replaced cigarettes with a vape,” I did
BORN TO DIE WORLD IS A FUCK 鬼神 KILL EM ALL 1989 410,757,864,530 DEAD COPS
If you mean “replaced cigarettes with a vape,” I did
Either “cat” or “morning,” same as always
You aren’t my brother, none of them are cowards or bootlickers
Hasn’t said one way or the other, I’ll let it tell me when it’s ready
It’s a car
Oh, everybody can already see that. I’m a man in my 30s and I still wear my punk vest everywhere. My feelings on cops, Nazis, and fascists are made pretty clear on it, while anyone who recognizes basic anarchist emblems will see those too. It doesn’t do a perfect 1:1 job of communicating my beliefs, but I’m more open and specific with what I believe than any coward in a red hat
Yuuup lol I came here specifically to comment “Khaleesi”
This is kinda where I was going in my reply.
I am not a Star Wars fan. I have a nostalgic fondness for the very first few movies and even then; I haven’t watched any of them in ages and don’t plan to. A Star Wars label on a piece of media, all things being equal, makes me less likely to interact with it these days.
Empire has never been beaten as a high point in the franchise and it can’t be because SW is taken way too seriously now
Well, I guess my answer could change depending on you how define “best,” but I think my answer has to be Dwarf Fortress. I’ve been playing it longer than some posters on here have been alive! The emergent narratives of your forts and your dorfs combined with the constant drip-feed of updates makes it endlessly replayable. The main game theme has been my last-call morning alarm basically since I had a cell phone that replaced an alarm clock. It’s a game I come back to time and again that has yet to get old. If anything, it’s getting too complex for my stupid ass lol
Just the once, but it was from a human so it was pretty shit
Always have water, often have a second beverage with caffeine
Most tubular brah
Huh, neat. Yeah, I’m American so there was no tradition or anything with my story, I was just buzzed at a show
It’s not very strange per se, but I stole a completely regular unmarked glass, by accident, because I finished it right as the next band came on and being kinda drunk I just crammed the glass into my coat pocket so I could clap and generally be enthusiastic
Still have the glass, haha. Can’t think of anything else I’ve brought home besides maybe a napkin or flyer or something
To make driving more appealing, I suggest living in an unwalkable American Midwest purgatory where there’s fuck-all to do but watch tractors circle fields or meth
You will begin to associate the positive emotions of escape and freedom with driving, which will make you enjoy it a lot more
Your mileage may vary, but it worked great for me
Chiming in as someone who actually owns a few different anime on DVD/blu-ray.
My whole thing is that I like good media. Anime is a medium. There’s good anime out there. As many have already said, those’re few and far between because the vast majority of people working in the medium seem determined to pigeonhole it as genre trash and perv shit.
I kinda stopped watching anime early in my 20s. The late 00s into the 10s seemed like the absolute worst period of time for worthwhile anime being made. I’ve sat through a few more current big-name ones since then and shit hasn’t improved.
So yeah, I don’t hate anime as a medium, I just hate like 99% of the medium’s content
I listen to a small fan generating white noise and sometimes my cat purring
Their FAQ page for the holiday hole was fucking incredible. “The Onion on a good day” level comedy
You can just post your story on a travel board dude, you don’t need to ask this torturously specific question to tell it
