Google’s (not sure about other’s) location services keeps track of WiFi access points and the coordinates of devices that connect to them, and with the way Google sucks up all data, probably even just passing in range of. So WiFi can tattle on your location as well.

A job I had a few years back closed one office in PA and sent their WiFi APs to us in AZ as they were way better than what we had. For about a week this played havoc with everyone in the office’s location when using Google maps. A few of us that played Ingress (precursor game to Pokémon go) could start the game and get an action against the point in PA before our GPS would override the WiFi location.

Your questions are stating false comparisons. The only alternative to buying a house you listed is renting an equivalent house. But there are several other alternatives. To buy a house you must qualify on you and your spouse’s/ Co buyers proven income. So even if you intend to have a roommate, you cannot included the rent they’ll pay in your income. But it’s almost trivial for two couples (4 incomes) to rent a house together. There are also apartments, or trailer parks, or living with parents.

But let’s get back to equivalent homes.

A young couple makes 80k/yr and wants to buy a 250k house. They can’t afford much of a down payment and finance 225k. They’re paying roughly 2500/mo in a mortgage tax and insurance. That’s roughly half their take home income.

Older couple makes 160k/yr and just sold their previous home walking away with about 100k in equity. They also add 25k more for the down payment and finance 125k. Now their mortgage is 1200/ mo and they make more money so that represents a far lower percentage of their take home income as well. Even if they still only made 80k the fact they were already in a home with equity still leaves them with far more spending money each month.

The young couple is going to be in an apartment, or a trailer, they’re never getting into that home, even as a rental, unless the owners bought it during a low market and have a low mortgage and are not trying to get “today’s market rates” for it.

The Mustang-ness of the MachE is forced, it definitely pulls some styling from the sports car brand, but it’s not obvious. But the Mustang is the closest ICE vehicle to the MachE performance wise. Ford is trying to show that EVs are sportier than people think. Drive a MachE, a Mustang, and an Edge (the other car the MachE takes styling from) and you’ll know why it’s got ponies on the badges instead of ovals.

Seems like we won’t have any issues unless you depended on the app for something. Driving the F150, or even the MachE, we just have to take two spots most of the time. It feels wrong but it’s what Tesla recommends for non teslas. I’ve only used SC a handful of times, but usually get lucky and grab an end cap or the side mounted charger when available.

A membership and an account are two different things. I have a Tesla account, and pay about $0.56/kWh at local SCs. If I dropped $7 or so per month on a membership, it would cost me about $0.36/kWh. I don’t because I don’t use them often enough. I have had them derate to 70kW but it was 115F in the middle of the desert, don’t know if it was my car or the charger that was dropping the speed, either way it seemed reasonable at that temperature.
