Your last line pretty much sums up my feelings entirely.

Literally anything.
Except Wayfinder’s revamped Echos launch. It’s like $20 and it’s super fun. Go buy it and support Airship Syndicate.
I had a Tiburon in college and dropping back seats left enough room to fit a twin mattress. 😎 We have a local drive-in theater still operating and backing that sucker in, popping the hatch and laying in a bed to watch movies was awesome. I had the upgraded sound system so there was a big ass subwoofer right next to my feet, too.
Hell, even my dream car, the '69 Fairlady Z, is a hatchback.
I’m pretty biased since I have both a Soul and a Kona sitting in my driveway, but I’d take electric of either once I actually own a house. I’m hesitant to get an EV before I can charge at home.
I’m just a hatchback fan. Small enough to be easy to drive and big enough to fit both of my Mastiffs.
They made a Soul EV for a few years before killing it. Huuuuge bummer.
I will never be mad at more Jon Hamm.
That my dad cared about or respected me. After a family dinner, my wife asked me if he always talked about me like that and it just kind of clicked. Things like telling my kid, “If you play too many video games, they’ll melt your brain like your dad” or “why would anyone pay you that much” when I told them that I broke a six figure salary. She made me realize that this wasn’t normal and I didn’t have to sit there and listen to it just because of who he is.
I haven’t spoken to him or really any of my side of the family in almost two years now. Good riddance.
If I want to read Spider-Man, I would probably post the question “where should I start with Spider-Man?” on something like Lemmy and I’d get a dozen different responses suggesting different comic runs or artists. That alone means I’m not getting the full Spider-Man story.
I can go pick up volume 1 of One Punch Man and know I’m at the beginning of a cohesive story.
I migrated over to Lemmy a few weeks ago when the piece of shit Reddit app refused to load any posts but continued to load ads. I have found this community to be far more interactive, kind, and enjoyable to discuss pretty much anything with. I haven’t found a reason to return to reddit at all.
I think I’m going to try siding with the manga readers because it seems to be overwhelming “no” and I’ll watch it at the end!
I’ll let you know what I think. I’m really excited for this one. Thanks for the heads up!
Ooo, I’ve already read the first handful of chapters of the manga, so I’m not sure if that covers what is in episode 0. Do you think it would have been a better watch through to have it at the end?
My wife sat down and started watching JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure with me on a whim about half way through part one and she’s a bigger weeb than I am now.
This is a good one that I don’t think ever really got advertised at all. Caught me by surprise.
Pretty much anything by Trigger is going to be worth at least a watch through at least once, usually multiple times.
The League of Legends show, Arcane, is some of the best animation I think I’ve ever seen and season two comes out next month.
FLCL and FLCL Alternative are both amazing, I couldn’t get into Progressive.
Mob Psycho and One Punch Man are wild rides. I think OPM is better, but that’s because I’m bald.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is an absolute hoot if you can see the humor in all the over-explanations and goofiness
I’m about to start Dead Dead Demons Dedede Destruction tomorrow. I’m going in blind, but I really love Inio Asano’s other works. Goodnight Punpun changed my life, but really, do not read it if you are already depressed.
I keep editing this because I keep remembering stuff.
Frieren is amazing and makes you feel incredibly close to these characters.
Delicious in Dungeon is Trigger, but a different Trigger than something like Kill la Kill or BNA. It’s slower, comfier, and like Frieren, makes you feel SO close to these characters.
