Totally unhelpful. You’re talking to an individual who is trying to understand human behavior, not someone who’s personally responsible for their country’s actions.

I’d be cool with calling them tȟatȟáŋka
World has appealed the decision and has asked regulators to provide judicial clarity on whether the processes and, in particular, the Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) deployed by World Network meet the legal definition for anonymisation in the EU.
So… their legal defense is sealioning?
At that point, Donner had been a director for over twenty years. He knew how the game was played. Hats off!
I’d say that every house has a junk drawer, but I wouldn’t call this a junk drawer. It mostly looks like random kitchen tools. I guess you’re both right, in a way.
Maybe what you need is a wall-mounted rack to hold some of your other stuff without taking up valuable counter space. For example, I’ve heard people swear by magnetic knife holders. You can probably find magnetic tool holders at a hardware store for less than you’d find knife holders at a store that specializes in kitchen stuff.
Or maybe just get some hooks. Perhaps some little shelves. Whatever. The point is, make the stuff you use most often more accessible, and use the freed-up space in other drawers to clean out this drawer. Then turn it into a proper junk drawer, with shit like loose rubber bands, half~dried superglue, an awkwardly shaped pen from a real estate salesperson, and a tape measure that’s branded with the logo of an NFL team for some reason.

The victim was a billionaire, and apparently there were no serious injuries. This is a comedy.
It can be frustrating to see, but remember, parents almost never get any actual time off. Go home at the end of the day? Kids to deal with, and perhaps shuttle around. Weekend? Kids. Holidays? Kids. Parents have enormous, constant responsibility, so cutting them some slack is just basic compassion.
Besides, any decent parent would choose their kids over their job anyway, so being accommodating only makes good business sense.
I’d “forgive” them after using their apology against them in court, and pressing both civil and criminal charges. (I know I’m dreaming here, but were they stupid enough to give you a written note?) Even then, I’d only “forgive” them for my own benefit - holding on to anger can do psychological damage, and revenge is often impractical.
Also, I’d remember that “forgiving” and “forgetting” are two very different things.
Lastly, I’d copy the tone, wording, and overall style of their “apology” as closely as possible when “forgiving” them. Basically, I’d say FUCK YOU in the most diplomatic way possible.
I sincerely hope those dumbass “unique” spellings go away.
Anyone notice the house next door that’s almost touching the former church? There’s paint on the stone wall and the house”s windows. It’s like the painters didn’t mask anything.
This is the cutest story I’ve heard all week. “Thank you cow couple” is the cherry on top.
“Free” signups, website registrations, and bullshit like that gets my Yahoo address. Real human beings and important things like my bank gets my real email.
At first, LOTS of “I told you so” comments on social media. These would quickly disappear as the shit really hit the fan.
All I can say is to be patient. Eventually he’ll realize that dating high school kids isn’t the way to go. There are women closer to his age that don’t want children, either. Eventually, he’ll figure that out.
He’s still growing up. He’s made some bad choices, but doesn’t sound like an inherently bad person. Thank you for tolerating, and answering, my questions. I wish you the best.
Okay. So we’re not talking about a hurt man here. He just wants to have fun without the responsibilities. The best thing I can say is that I’m glad he was mature enough to take his ex’s feelings into account. A lot of “men” are too selfish and immature to do that. That speaks well of both him and your parenting.
By 29 you’d expect the awkwardness to be over, but it isn’t. He could very well feel like he isn’t ready to start a family. I know the environment is a major concern for a lot of people - he simply may not want to bring children into a world that he believes is doomed. Has he ever expressed this concern to you?
Please note that I’m not building up to a point where I defend his dating a high school student. I think it’s gross. I’m just trying to understand why he might make such a choice.
Going down the God rabbit hole is frustrating and ultimately unsatisfying. Every answer boils down to faith, which is basically belief without proof.
To paraphrase someone: If God is all-good, then God can’t be all-powerful. If God is all-powerful, then God can’t be all-good.
I probably sound like I’m being dismissive of people who believe in God. That’s not my intent. Faith can be a healthy source of strength in difficult times, and when dealing with our chaotic world. I only have an issue when blind faith is allowed to override common sense, like not getting your kids vaccinated, or drinking raw milk.
