I work on AI and it feels to me like you literally don’t understand it at all based on your comments in this thread. But you sure do have all the buzzwords down pat.

I’m really confused by these comments. I work on AI and absolutely hate all the clickbait and marketing simple algorithms as actual AI. But this seems like the pendulum swinging way too hard the other way.

To put it bluntly - No, it is not simple or trivial to “spin up” an LLM. Unless you want it to be worse than simple chatbots that have already existed for over a decade.

You know “average porn watcher” includes a very large percentage of women too, right? Every single comment of yours is filled with hateful nonsense.

There was an article the other day about underage girls in France having AI nudes spread around based on photos as young as 12. Definitely harm there.

Doesn’t need to be spoofed, just be poorly trained. Probably rushed out to compete.

Same for me. Keeping in touch with friends is easy enough with my phone and discord. Hasn’t affected my dating life in anyway or hindered my ability to meet new people in general either. I’m 34 for reference. I had Facebook when I was much younger but haven’t used it in years

I can assure you that AI is not anywhere near the level you think it is right now.

I can already type pretty fast on my phone. Throw in the suggested word completion and I don’t really feel like I need to use it.
