“The reliable ally” is the main reason for the lack of other allies in the region, and for the increased radicalization in the area. So your argument doesn’t make sense.

It’s like the fire department supporting the fire burning a building to keep the building safe. The “radicalization” happens to actual human beings because their lives got destroyed since childhood and they had no chance because of the “military” you want to keep defending. Maybe give the Humans a chance to grew up properly, with access to hospitals, education, and decent living, and then try diplomacy with them first? Not keep destroying every chance then be surprised they’re lashing back, and use that as an execuse to keep the pressue on them when that’s literally the reason for the issues in the first place.

That’s why the rest of the world hates America. Their culture is so self cantered, they don’t even see others who aren’t like them as humans just like them. So toxic and I’m sick of it.

Ironing clothes. Maybe this only applies to drier-safe clothes. The drier irons them more than enough. Then it always get balanced between crumbled from wearing and kinda ironed by body heat and such. Regardless if it’s ironed first or not. At least for most of the clothes i wear, even without drier ironing, the body heat thing works fine relatively quickly.

I ran an experiment trying both ways for years to prove it’s a useless waste time. No one was able to tell if i ironed my clothes or not. Because the end results is the same. It’s worst than vanity in my opinion because you’re supposed to be showing something better or more neat or whatever aesthetics you feel. Not if the same results regardless!

A lot of the people here gave great advices, but i wanna add a comment. Based on my experiences with the women in my life, most (if not all sometimes) insecurities stem from projection. Which is sadly a problem that amplifies itself.

It’s not an easy mentality to overcome though but i find knowing this fact, and thinking about it whenever your brain gets all those bad thoughts, can be a good defence. At least it makes it easier to try or start to overcome your insecurities.

It’s by design so people buy more lights. It could be made to function better and last way way longer (theocratically forever by a human’s standards).

But then the quarterly line won’t go up high enough, so it’s “bad for business”.

Like someone else commented, even the bad ones can be made to at least be slightly better with small adjustments to the circuit, but then 2 people out of 8 billions around the world would be reluctant to buy the extra luxury package on their third super yacht. So obviously it’s not worth it (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

Physic student here, so not a full professional yet.

I just wanted to add to this nice explanation that using the models of how we expect gravity to behave, we theorized the existence of black holes way before observing them. And not just black holes, but many other observations about the nature of our universe were theorized before we saw them. Like light bending.

That’s how good the math was, that the models keep proving to be accurate as we observe more of our universe. I find that so cool :)
