first@last.com would be ideal, I use first@firstlast.com, but that wont be good for sharing. I would stick to a common TLD at least (.com, .net, .org, or a country) for deliverability.
Check out Lunanode. Cheapest option is 3.50 a month and bonus points for being Canadian. I just recently set my VPS up there and am really pleased with them. Afaik they support your needs including custom ISO.
If its a mission critical use, I would stick to a more common TLD (com, org, net, etc). Country TLDs should be okay too.
Also worth noting that they themselves are an American company for anyone that is concerned about that.
Does anyone have a good recommendation for an S3 provider? I’m looking at Hetzner and OVH.
Long time customer and super happy with Fastmail. Its a bit pricy but the service is great.
I absolutely hate that I have to use it, but my next best option is less than 5 Mbps.
Came here to say my DE razor that I bought second hand which was made before WW2. Still going strong and used every day.
I’m using an ancient RX580 with my Razer TB3 enclosure and it works just fine for playing older games at 1080p. Not sure I would invest in an eGPU again though, it would only cost a small amount more to build a basic gaming rig from old parts that would outperform my setup with less hassle.
I’m still rocking a OP6 running the latest Lineage. Cost me $60 used. $1000 for a phone is insane!
This has been the biggest drawback of 10" for me and my primary reason to switch to full size. I believe some 4 bay models will just fit on a shelf, but that is about the max you will be able to fit.
What I do to keep DNS consistent inside and out is use Tailscale on all my clients. I host a DNS server hosted on my tailnet that is set up as split DNS for my “kickassdomain.org”.
Fwiw I switched from k3s to Talos and find it much easier to manage. I run 3 mini 1L PCs with rook-ceph and it works flawlessly even on 1Gbe.
I’m pretty happy with the combo of a cheap, thin mattress with a nicer memory foam topper on it. Affordable, and can replace the topper separately if needed producing less waste than needing a whole new mattress.
If you have done a partial gene sequence for a service like ancestry or 23andme you can just look at the raw data and search for the known polymorphisms.
Methylated B vitamins and vitamin D were life changing discoveries. I have some polymorphisms (VDR and MTHFR) that mean I am less efficient at absorbing them from food. 2000 IU a day and a B-complex ended chronic depression/anxiety and insomnia for me. Those mutations are pretty common so I highly recommend trying them for anyone with similar issues.
Aside from that I think a whole foods plant based diet with some eggs and fish and no refined sugars is probably the way to go. Some micronutrients like vitamin A and K2 are more easily absorbed from animal sources, so eating a small amount of meat and/or eggs is probably a bit healthier than pure plant based IMO.
I quite like Fastmail. It’s a bit expensive but the service is very reliable and they have a well established reputation. You can create masked emails using their domain or your own from the web interface.
Wait a minute, you are 72 and married a 34 year old? WTF
