If you have an Echo device, you can also ask Alexa to “thank my driver” and it will apply it to the most recent order on your account. Just did it for an order that came in on Monday and Alexa gave me the $5 spiel.

Can’t comment on the rest, but the NC gubernatorial race is pretty obvious. The GOP nominated an anti-trans blowhard who turned out to also be crooked, perverted, racist, and pro-slavery. He was trailing in the polls before the CNN piece about him.
The GOP basically set out to find just how low they could go with a candidate and finally found the bar. Black Nazis are apparently that bar.
I don’t think you realize how little would have to change for you to not be born. There were millions of sperm cells churning in your daddy’s balls. Millions of alternate instruction sets to contribute to one half of a whole person. A two-minute delay, a sneeze, the thermostat being off by a single degree could have led to the birth of a completely different person.
Okay, as someone who has been to a number of kink events, I’ll ask, what would you consider sexual? I’ve seen people go heavy into sub space with zero genital stimulation. The subs I see generally play naked, but it’s more about the psychological aspect of being exposed/removing barriers rather than tittilation.
Whether those subs would argue their experience was sexual or not? I think that really depends on the sub.
Especially considering the samples were exposed to supergravity as the plane came out of its dive. I feel like that would mostly invalidate whatever they were hoping to find.
Also, why do they dismiss asking ISS staff to participate in studies? Bodily autonomy doesn’t mean you can’t ask someone to conduct … uh… research with you. It just means you have to respect it they say no. Astronauts seem like the types who wouldn’t mind putting in a little extra effort for… science.
I like it so that the USB C will last longer. At least in theory.
It’s more than theory in my experience. I had a OnePlus 5 and lint completely ruined the USB-C port. I could spend 10 minutes trying to dig stuff out and get the cable right for it to establish a charge before I finally gave up and upgraded. It’s why I’m not AS annoyed that the wireless charging add-on takes up the port. As long as it’s also keeping debris out of the port (and the rest of the phone continues to run well) I’ll live with it.
The phone or the OS? Hardware wise, my only gripe is the lack of wireless charging. I use an aftermarket plug to add it, but it doesn’t put the charge pad quite in the right place, so I sometimes have to put it upside down. It also means the USB-C port is always occupied. That isn’t a huge deal for me as I like to use plugs to keep dust out anyway
Software wise, I’m still running regular Android. I don’t like that there’s no Gallery app. You have to use Google Photos. That coupled with the fact that .nomedia files don’t seem to work mean that the app shows ALL photos on your phone, including some you might want to keep private.
Other than that though, I’m pretty happy with it. Just upgraded mine to 15.
I think it’s a roundabout attempt to get us to wonder what the fuck Kick is. I’m not that curious.
Yeah, I stayed with my parents for a few months while I was house hunting and being limited to Level 1 charging was challenging. I couldn’t recover a full commute’s worth of charge overnight and would start each day with progressively less charge, so I’d have to swing by a L3 charger once a week or so. Still cheaper than gas though.
Crazy to see the N64 so far down the list. I was a Sega-, then Sony-kid but it seemed like the N64 had a better market share than the graphic would imply. Might just be confirmation bias based on my age though.
If you have the port and money for it, I’d recommend a separate drive for the second OS. Windows is kinda notorious for stomping over GRUB if you rely on partitions for your dual boot.
If you’re worried about installing to the wrong drive on accident, you can always physically disconnect the existing drive until install is complete, then plug it back in and set the boot order in the mobo config.
Was there some fallout from this video? Or do you just mean the terrible experience she had at the hotel?
A/S/L???
To clarify, the FTC is being urged to craft this regulation. They have not recently urged for this regulation. Gotta love the English language.
Really cements my understanding of the topic.
Yeah, the policy was not only that you had to use the stipend on the gym membership, you had to actually GO at least a couples times per month and show proof of attendance “if asked”.
Not technically AT the work place, but a couple employees decided it would be a good idea to sneak off to a side room during the company Christmas party to fool around. They got caught and nothing happened for a couple weeks. Then, for the first and last time in the company history to my knowledge, both employees were asked to provide proof of gym attendance to justify the stipend they were collecting, then fired when they failed to do so.
What’s fun is the couple were married (to each other) and it didn’t happen on company property or during business hours, so this was totally just a “We’re icked out by this” move by HR. Gotta love working in the South.
Harris Teeter where I live. We do have Publix locations around now though. I still need to check them out and see if they live up to the hype.
The best sandwich shop in my town is the deli at the grocery store. They are less concerned about skimping on ingredients because it’s more important to entice you in and get you spending money in the aisles.
For $8 or $9 they will stuff a footlong sub so full they can barely fold it over. And it’s generally fresher ingredients than you’d find in a Subway
Man, worst second date ever. Had no idea what I was walking into in that theater
